Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Vicky,
Have you thought of the number of contracts which will have to be renegotiated?

Not disagreeing with your view of the Tory's.
But Tory polling machine is state of the art and pretty good at getting it right.
But still far too early to call. Each side still has a lot of scarmonging to roll out.

I watched Richard Quest interview a couple of American suits last night on CNN in which the Price Waterhouse guy predicted that a Brexit would be very bad for the UK, horrendous for Europe and bad for the world economy.
There I thought is the real problem. If it was going to be so bad, then you would think that the EU would recognise the democratic decision of one of its members and work towards ensuring no economic harm to itself. But no, it is so set on its project that it would rather go down in flames than allow the freedom contagion to spread to other countries. Just about sums up what a self-serving bunch of nobodies our Dave would like us to be subservient to.

Never mind, common sense will prevail. Not from Junkie and his cohorts. He is a stooge in all this.
Merkel will decide, under pressure from German industry, that an economic war with its third largest world trading partner would be very bad for business. And we know who calls the shots in Europe. Vote out with confidence.

Did not realise that Steve Hilton ran the poll. Boy he must be pissed that his data differs from his personal views.
On TV last night someone got a group of 20 somethings together with some older somethings. One of the young ladies actually said that because they would be around longer than the oldies, their views should have more weight.
Shocking!!!.... but she's not wrong.

Couple of observations on Cameron.
If the end of the world is nigh if we exit then why was he considering it himself before he got his wonderful (NOT) deal with the EU ? Makes him look a right chump imo.
He has told his version of the downside of leaving but I've heard him say nothing about anything positive about staying in except of course his version of the downside won't happen.
Vote out and we get rid of EU and bloody Cameron and Osborne at same time , that's gotta be good for the economy :)

You could also argue that older people have more experience of the world and it's ways than young people.
Perhaps more (weighted) votes as you get older might be more sensible?

Tell me how many young people know what's best for them , I voted for EEC but look at it now . If we'd known then what we know now there would have been a NO last time . We were lied to then and being lied to now .

We are in a new age now Britain will be hammered and not a thing anyone can do ,if we stay in . It's drain the powerful countries fill them up with others rejects and pay for the rest of eternity .Except Germany .
