If anybody wants me, just come and knock on the hammock. With all this rain, I shall spend the day relaxing and enjoying myself.

I'm up and about a little earlier today, weather much brighter. Breakfast is all ready in the hot cabinet. Real good bacon today too, its Gloucester Old Spot, dry cured the traditional way and then grilled to perfection, yummy. If you're not quick, I will have eaten most of it myself.

Ah, very nice.
I'll grab the hammock before anyone else does (running jump) weyheyyyy! (rip) whoahoooooooo! (thud). Owch! ooops! OOOeer! Well, heavy duty thread or summat, that'll soon fix it. Errr, just off to the shops. Um I wouldn't try the hammock just yet if I were you, er, technical hitch. Actually it's not hitched to anything at the moment. Sorry.

OK guys, the hammock is fixed. Called in a favour from an old navy bosun. Very neat job of splicing, I'm very impressed. Had to stand him a couple of tots of Pussers though, seemed a fair exchange to me.

Oh yes, very impressive job made of the hammock. I'd better not test it though. Thought I'd make myself scarce for the day whilst it was being fixed. Went to Lake Vyrnwy to hide and soak up the sunshine, not in a hammock however. Motored back home via Oswestry and Llangollen, sampling some fine ale on the way (for once I wasn't driving!). Very tired now but having just found a leftover Danish, I'll just sit here and eat it. Mmm tasty, very tas........zzzzzzzzpthpthffttppp

Morning all,
What is it with wet summers and big hairy house spiders! Just had to remove one from the bathroom at the warren, frightened the living daylights out of me, damn thing!
:>S

zzzzzMphgrmph...wh...wha....ugh...what was that? Big hairy spiders? Aagh! There's one stuck on my face, help it's attacking me! Er, oh, no it's a half eaten Danish pastry. Must've fallen asleep on it. Mmm tasty.
Morning Bunny! Why do so many people have a problem with spiders I wonder? You would imagine, due to a slight difference in size, that spiders might actually be a tad scared of us! I was long ago appointed chief spider catcher in my house. My daughter's screams can be heard for miles when she encounters even the smallest of arachnid! Anyway I'll have a good look around here, if I see any I'll turf them out.

Thank you Kim!
My first port of call is one of 2 sons, but sadly one is away and the other had left for work!
So plan 2 as no option but to deal with it myself - my method (will make you laugh) is get object over it, sliding something under, so I have it trapped, and then transporting outside the whole thing, to 'liberate' it and me LOL
But if you are an expert I will happily leave patrolling the coffee house in your capable hands :>)

See I have a thoery about this - hang on whilst I sit down and try and look a philosophical-bunny....
I reckon our unfounded fears are from previous life experiences. So someone who's terrified of spiders lived somewhere, in a previous life - where spiders were dangerous, so the instinct is there to be wary. I reckon it's like that with all unfounded fears....in the same way it amazes me how many big strapping men are very wary of cats, they are fine with quite potentially aggressive dogs but a moggie and the idea of claws and they back away......
(jumps off stool)
anyway I'll get back to the breakkies!

I guess I am lucky, I don't fear anything other than getting old, oh and my wife when she has "that" look in her eye!! ;o)
I'll just poke about underneath things with this big stick to get rid of any lurking arachnids. (Poke, poke) There could be some under the freezer (Poke, shove, scrabble, poke) (FLASH! BANG!) OOOOOoooops! What was that? Er, oh heck. I know a good electrician, has a shop just down the road. I'll nip out to get him. Don't open the freezer door. Erm, soon have if fixed haha!

Morning Bluelady. Sorry about the smell of burning; freezer had an electrical fault! Fixed now though thanks to a bit of quick work by the electrician; amazing how things get done when cash only payment is mentioned! Strange that he had to ask me which wire went where though; it's a good job I know a thing or two about electrical stuff!
'S ok to use the freezer now Bunny.
