There is nothing for BILL on Digitallook,is this an IPO and ,if so,when?
Can't find anything under CLE.Help, please moneyplus.
Ethel

moneyplus - 10 Aug 2005 12:53 - 229 of 572

BILL floated in June and you can find it quoted on comdirect/squaregain site-apparently the directors are disappointed at the lack of interest in the company as outsourced billing is very big in the US should take off here soon. they are doing the rounds of the fund managers and some are buying in early. they collect billings for telecom companies. CLE can also be found on comdirect-this company recently floated and has gone up quickly. set up by the CEO of Brit insurance and a partner to invest in companies involved in climate control hence the name of the co. Climate Exchange. They have invested in Ceres Power, Biofuels, Trading Emissions and have a 50% stake in the European Exchange in carbon emissions--growth in that apparently is rocketing according to the Sunday Times last weekend and Icap have increased their dealers from one junior to 8 full time in 9 months.
companies who need power can buy these carbon emissions from companies who have gone green and don't need their full entitlement under the Kyoto agreement-they do this through the dealers on these exchanges. That is my simple understanding of it and it sounds like a huge potential market particularly if they can get America onboard. I'm sure the experts on this board could tell us more.
I just thought I'd pick up a few through a telephone buy on comdirect. CLE is hot but BILL might take quite a time for anyone to want to buy it so I've only bought 700. hope your investing is going well Ethel--I've just found I'm up to my Capital Gains limit and wondering whether to switch to spreadbetting for the rest of the year-I couldn't bear to stop and do nothing!!

Does anyone why the price has dropped? So many buys yet price is not going up, any reasons for this?

CWMAM - 24 Aug 2005 16:38 - 232 of 572

A good time to top up if you can after the latest announcement it means cash towards the sit up deal although they will properly need a lot more. Plenty of buys today 26m I would have thought the sp to have picked up at the end.

m0dulus - 25 Aug 2005 09:16 - 234 of 572

Nearly 18M shares bought so far, yet sp still not moving...how is this possible?
Can anyone shed light on this.

Thanks

biffa18 - 25 Aug 2005 09:17 - 235 of 572

Another announcement, sp will pick up soon imo a good time to top up..

25th August 2005

Do you know what this means...the announcement that is?

Balli - 25 Aug 2005 10:43 - 238 of 572

41M traded and not a whiff of a rise. Whats going on?

sidtrix - 25 Aug 2005 10:53 - 239 of 572

Thats not much... very low to the amount of shares on issue!

topped up again today, tempted to do so again however am thinking maybe should wait for income to start coming in b4 doubling my holding. This one will be my first long term hold- thinking of keeping for 2-5 years, hopefully we'll be at 1 by then :)
Wonder if I book an enzo now, I should hopefully be next on line to receive it in 5 years? Number plate 'PCM' !!!

Balli - 25 Aug 2005 11:04 - 240 of 572

I've held previously but got out at a loss. Looking long term this time........fingers crossed. Ticked up 1 point!

driver - 25 Aug 2005 12:47 - 241 of 572

115m buys today going strong.

ahoj - 25 Aug 2005 16:09 - 242 of 572

Can this become a new QXL.

QXL was 150p not long ago, it's 4700p now- My money could rise over 30 times if I held it by now. instead, I sold at 315 and lost about 3k.

I cannot afford to make the same mistake here. Let's hope.

biffa18 - 25 Aug 2005 17:41 - 243 of 572

this wont go nowhere without some figures of income !!

ahoj - 26 Aug 2005 08:22 - 244 of 572

Never say never. Let's hope
I did have that sort of idea when I sold QXL. It's 4800p now.

moneyman - 28 Aug 2005 00:09 - 245 of 572

biffa

That is why everyone is buying now ! If it does produce the same results as Sit-Up do in the UK then think of the potential of the share price increase. It is good to see that people are talking long term with this stock as in reality, short term, it will be volatile.

Even though the present price is .14 to buy I have resisted adding as I believe that when the short termers exit it may dip a little lower. I have enough in my pot to not worry if it doesn't but what the heck.

Seems like the recent news is a tidying up and part confirmation that the finance for Sit-Up is being put in place.

biffa18 - 28 Aug 2005 13:13 - 246 of 572

Moneyman
agree with you but some on here seem to be trying to ramp this up and as i said this needs figs and forecasts as so many shares in issues for this to move it needs to be very good figs and in this climate i dont think it will happen and as you said i think we will buy cheaper than this yet !!

m0dulus - 31 Aug 2005 11:34 - 247 of 572

What is going on here? Any ideas with this....
