Mouse Update

We spent last night at our other place in Sevenoaks where we know we have had a mouse problem. I thought we had managed to get rid of them but it seems not. We operate a trap lottery system here with 2 traps, 1 humane 1 inhumane, last night we got 2 more.

These little beats are proving very hard to eradicate here, looks as though I might need to get a few more traps ;-)

PS As usual I donated the live mouse to my nosey neighbors across the road !

Just tucked into a sausage baguette for brekkie washed down with a cup of tea, very nice. Feeling very cheerfull today even though we both woke up at 3am, delayed jetlag I think.

Very cold and frosty here at the moment.

I had thought of poison but I don't want to do that as the little buggers just crawl away somewhere and die and then they rot and smell. I think I will increase the number of traps and see what happens.

Sounds like you have homing mice. Take them further away before releasing them.

Someone mentioned tea, I'll make a pot to get over my shock. Got a nail in the tyre of my beamer and just laid out 115 for a new one, tyre that is, not nail. Caused a swap around because some of my tyres are assymetric and some not, pesky things.

I just took some time out to wash the car. It has now started raining! QED

You can always pull up the other chair Choccy, it's so cosy :-)

Or you could always sling up a hammock for two, you would have to keep still though :-)

So that's how you get half an hour just suggest to a lady that she keeps still in a shared hammock!! Worth remembering.
