Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

kimoldfield - 18 Sep 2008 12:48 - 22896 of 24230

Yes please!, all on the same plate to save time.

Socrates - 18 Sep 2008 13:22 - 22897 of 24230

Oh dear, all this noise has spoiled my attempt to break Rip Van Winkle's record. I was so comfortable in the hammock too. Right, let's get rid of this Guinness queue for a start. I was trained to pour a Guinness as a youf so it will be no problem for me.

Spurt....splash....sizzle

OK there we go, queue sorted.

Now I'll have some of that lunch please Bunny. The sweet sounds nice but don't bother to poach the peaches, just pour on liberal amounts of brandy and cream, please.

Spaceman - 18 Sep 2008 13:49 - 22898 of 24230

Thanks for lunch bunny, no peaches for me though cos I hate them ....

I never have understood why people like fruit with sand in it?

stockbunny - 18 Sep 2008 15:39 - 22899 of 24230

LOL possibly because those of us who like them don't detect sand in them ;>)
Kettle's boiled to help yourselves to tea and coffee....guinness due in approx 1/2 hour....

kimoldfield - 18 Sep 2008 15:42 - 22900 of 24230

kimoldfield - 18 Sep 2008 15:46 - 22903 of 24230

Hang on......I've missed a minute somewhere. Time flies when you're anticipating....

Spaceman - 18 Sep 2008 15:59 - 22904 of 24230

Is it Guinness time yet?

kimoldfield - 18 Sep 2008 16:01 - 22905 of 24230

Socrates - 18 Sep 2008 16:02 - 22906 of 24230

kimoldfield - 18 Sep 2008 16:39 - 22912 of 24230

Just a half for me please. I'm driving. (Not in here of course).

kimoldfield - 19 Sep 2008 08:44 - 22913 of 24230

Morning. A VERY large coffee to sip please.

Socrates - 19 Sep 2008 11:13 - 22914 of 24230

Good morning all, elevenses ready. Biccies in the tin for them that wants 'em.

Just talking to an oppo of mine, one of his friends had a FTSE short open and woke late this morning. He is hurting big time.

kimoldfield - 19 Sep 2008 12:36 - 22915 of 24230

Darn, missed my elevenses; been waving daughter No. 3 off as she embarks on a new life in New York :o( Still, as I keep telling my wife, we're not losing a daughter but gaining a holiday home in the Big Apple!

I guess there'll be three different types of traders today, ecstatic, dismayed or, like me, frustrated at not having my deals work due to rubbish computer systems (not my computer I might add but my broker's)

10 pints of Guinness please.
