"Biopak has released an all new fully compostable and biodegradable packaging film material with food contact approval.

This revolutionary new packaging film material is based on a blend of starch and PLA and is certified as biodegradable. This material is also certified for compostability (dependent on material thickness / gauge) to EN:13432 and DIN CERTCO standards
"

Has a familiar ring to it......doesn't it!

the ring of..................
more jam tomorrow.

Still , patience is a virtue.

It has been very quiet from SEO since they got the 14m + - can we be sure the management haven't disappeared with the dosh to live a life of luxury in South America or some such haven for those so inclined?

Shouldn't 14m = activity = news (especially news of the deals that were imminent in early September)?

Why do I have the feeling I've been had?

long term patients tend to become corpses

dawall - 09 Jan 2007 15:45 - 23179 of 27111

Oilywag I wouldn't read anything into the comment you got from Aust. To me that reads I don't know, can't be bothered (or too busy) to find out and I don't intend to. If they were involved with SEO they would know and there would be no good reasons from keeping this info. hidden. If SEO have gone chasing small Aust. companies whilst US and ASDA are still up in the air and not sorted I would be pretty pissed off.

A more likely Australian scenario is that Wagner and Warner are spending the winter sunning themselves on some Australian beach having just successfully shafted everyone for 14m. This would also explain the deadly silence. If anyone lives near Southampton It might be worth going to the office to check if any lights are still on and casrs in the car park.

Me, well I'm off to the boat show to see what I could have bought had SEO not fucked up big time!

dawall,

"Me, well I'm off to the boat show to see what I could have bought had SEO not fucked up big time! "

funniest post of the year so far !! as the great jim bowen used to say, " let's take a look at what you could've won . "

driver - 09 Jan 2007 16:23 - 23181 of 27111

dawall
What would you have done with it anyway?

hewittalan6 - 09 Jan 2007 16:41 - 23182 of 27111

Keep the suntanned bird with the lithe limbs in a tiny bikini aboard a yacht in the Med.
I'll go with an investment in Jam Futures anyday.
Did I really just think that?
Shit, I'm getting old.

greekman - 09 Jan 2007 17:06 - 23183 of 27111

Alan

Who needs the boat????

bristlelad - 09 Jan 2007 17:08 - 23184 of 27111

WHAT BOAT???????????????????

boldtrader - 09 Jan 2007 17:55 - 23185 of 27111

Signed up for both a boat and bird at the Excel boat show last year on the strength of the big SEO payout, looks like I will be signing on the dole soon after my last trip to the show this year!!! There Thursday dawall if you want a meet and a chat.
Do I really believe we will come good on this one? yeah I suppose so but then I always was bloody daft. good luck to all holders. Cheers.

Shearershearer - 09 Jan 2007 19:38 - 23186 of 27111

.......took me a while but I've just spotted the boat!!

qtheman - 09 Jan 2007 19:49 - 23187 of 27111

I think I will buy one of those imminently when I will be delighted to announce that I have agreed a tie up with someone in a foreign country who will agree to market something that I am waiting for clearance to sell but even though I will buy the boat I will not be expecting any income from the deal I agreed and I may have to go to the bank and give them a different story to the one I am giving you.

Oblo, I get a very distinct feeling that I have been had, when I looked into the boat they said the bird was only for illustration purposes!

Anyway, I think the way the company was handled in 2006 was scandalous and I have seen nothing since the fundraising to change my mind on that other than them finally learning to shut the f&ck up.

garyble - 09 Jan 2007 23:07 - 23188 of 27111

Guys....I'm seeing double:

http://www.stanelco.co.uk/starpol.html:

"An all new fully compostable and biodegradable material from Stanelco with food contact approval in Europe & USA

This revolutionary new material is certified as biodegradable. This material is also certified for compostability (dependent on material thickness / gauge) to EN:13432 and DIN CERTCO standards
"

and:

http://www.biopak.com.au/Biopak.html:

"An all new fully compostable and biodegradable material with food contact approval in Europe & USA. This revolutionary new material is based on a blend of starch and PLA and is certified as biodegradable. This material is also certified for compostability (dependent on material thickness / gauge) to EN:13432 and DIN CERTCO standards"

A blantant case of plagiarism I'd say!

tweenie - 09 Jan 2007 23:36 - 23189 of 27111

still..........jam tomorrow. :-) with the cast of neighbours/home and away.
As for the pic above, shes either got something pokeing her in the ass or there's something startling off the starboard bow!!
Did someone say there was a boat in the picture?
must get my eyes tested.
off to bed.

dawall - 10 Jan 2007 00:22 - 23190 of 27111

driver

biodegradable bikini springs to mind, mind you no use waiting for SEO as that chick above would be 90 before she got it!

oblomov - 10 Jan 2007 07:31 - 23191 of 27111

Unless the SP picks up dramatically I think we're going to have to lower our expectations on the bird/boat front for a while - this is more the level I can afford thanks to Stanelco - from this years Saigon International Boat Show

boldtrader - 10 Jan 2007 08:14 - 23192 of 27111

Crack on oblo!!

hewittalan6 - 10 Jan 2007 08:20 - 23193 of 27111

Is that a Greensealed fish I spy, next to what almost resembles a foot?????

oblomov - 10 Jan 2007 09:10 - 23194 of 27111

No, I think thats a second foot - gangrene probably.

Mind you, they've probably already copied Greenseal machines out there - the only difference being they'd actually get them working!
