Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Oh, and if possible - Skinny..........may I please have a few cranberries to float on top of my coffee?

skinny - 16 Jan 2009 08:23 - 233 of 4886

Kim - please (please please) help yourself. Apparently Cranberry is widely used to prevent urinary tract infection - so any sufferers - please all tuck in.

kimoldfield - 16 Jan 2009 08:33 - 234 of 4886

I am very much obliged to you Skinny.

kimoldfield - 16 Jan 2009 10:06 - 235 of 4886

Would anybody like to have some more tea, coffee, cranberries or whatever? It would be a pleasure for me to fetch them for you.

skinny - 16 Jan 2009 10:10 - 236 of 4886

Milky coffee please - I have a new packet of digestives - tuck in!

stockbunny - 16 Jan 2009 10:16 - 237 of 4886

Wheeww...OK orders ready!

Robert A - strong coffee for you, careful I might hold you to that offer to help on the early shift in here LOL ;>)
Kim - a cappa....cappa...OH coffee-thingie LOL
Skinny - milky coffee and thanks I'll nab a digestive as I walk past :>)

chocolat - 16 Jan 2009 10:17 - 238 of 4886

Gooood morning :)

Just the job, kimmo - I'd like lots and lots and lots of whatever please.
It is Friday after all.

kimoldfield - 16 Jan 2009 10:26 - 239 of 4886

Would that be whatever with cranberries Choco? We appear to be surrounded by tins of the stuff!

Thanks Bunny!

I hope your digestives are not all broken today Skinny.

kimoldfield - 16 Jan 2009 10:28 - 240 of 4886

Oh Chocco, here, let me pull out a chair for you.

chocolat - 16 Jan 2009 10:32 - 241 of 4886

Not if they've been anywhere near a urinary tract, thanks all the same kimmo.

That skinny's just a font of useless information, from boobs and beds to beverages :P

skinny - 16 Jan 2009 10:39 - 242 of 4886

Yes sorry Choccie - here is a use for cranberry more akin to your liking :-)

kimoldfield - 16 Jan 2009 10:46 - 243 of 4886

Hmmm, I don't think that will ever replace Guinness skinny!

KEAYDIAN - 16 Jan 2009 10:50 - 244 of 4886

Excuse me, advert your eyes if easily offended. Just en route to the jacuzzi.

chocolat - 16 Jan 2009 10:50 - 245 of 4886

Nah - you should try them together.

skinny - 16 Jan 2009 10:57 - 246 of 4886

Good idea - and why not try some of these with the black stuff!

Black and Tan: Guinness and bitter or Guinness and mild.

Black Velvet: Guinness and champagne.

Poor Man's Black Velvet: Guinness and cider.

Black Russian: Guinness and vodka

Velvet Pussy: Guinness and port.

Black Maria: Guinness and Tia Maria

Red Velvet: Guinness, cider and blackcurrant.

Red Witch: Guinness, Pernod, cider and blackcurrant.

Or if you want to "eat" your guiness how about - a Guinness Gingerbread Cranberry Cupcake with cream cheese frosting and fresh cranberry sauce...

Mmmmmm

kimoldfield - 16 Jan 2009 11:22 - 247 of 4886

OK, just mixing a punch with all skinny's ingredients, apart from the Gingerbread.

Would you like a fizz bomb in the jacuzzi KEAYDIAN?

KEAYDIAN - 16 Jan 2009 11:47 - 248 of 4886

(puff puff puff)

No thanks Kim

(blurpty blurpty blurp)

Have the papers arrived?

kimoldfield - 16 Jan 2009 12:11 - 249 of 4886

Ah, no of course, you do your own fizzing!

There you go FT, Times, Telegraph and Sun for you.

kimoldfield - 16 Jan 2009 12:12 - 250 of 4886

(Cough, splutter, cough)

KEAYDIAN - 16 Jan 2009 13:31 - 251 of 4886

I seem to be stuck on page 3.
