As you can see, we have put the new bulletin boards live.

The migration went smoothly, though it look at little longer than I expected it to!

If you notice any problems on the boards, please post below.

Would it be possible to force references to other sites/pages to open in a new window? I'm fed up with inadvertently shutting down MoneyAM when I've looked at a posted url, instead of using the 'back' button.

I know it can be done by adding target='_blank' to the reference tag, but would like you to consider the desirability/feasibility of doing it automatically within the 'chain' process.

I give up for now. Unless AM puts up a blow by blow account (as requested by Priscilla a while back) of how to stick a link up, they can bloody well stick it. I even checked the help and found it well out of date on most tihngs.

I'd persevere, but am far too busy at present.

Click the link symbol and enter the url in the box that appears - click OK and then click on the link button again.

Now before the final tag (HTML speak), which is a /a enter the text of your choice such as click here or the
name of the site before the final <

I appreciate that this is not as straight forward as what we used to have, and I will address this with JT

Just spoken to JT - he has been working on simpler version to enable links, and it will go live as soon as he has fully tested it. Therefore the issue will be closed very soon.

Maybe the 'Pip' explanation could be embedded somewhere where we can all find it. Such as when you click on 'Add Message' and this box comes up with 'Add a post to this thread'. A gap appears under ' You are posting as:' and the grey posting box. Perfect place for a few instructions, eh, Al?

As Jonathan has a fix in development there would be no point changing the arcitecture at this point just to change it back. I Will let you know when he has put this in place.
