Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Golfclub12 - 14 Sep 2004 10:14 - 2340 of 3104

Just gathered why, although trades are a little thin on the ground to say the least we can take a little heart from the recent trend upwards. Somebody must have some confidence in this company...

G12 - I do, even though it's very frustrating at times;) - The MM's leave you feeling a bit like the preverbial rag doll at times. I have little doubt it will do the right thing though, all it's going to cost is some time. I have several investments playing their little games but my patience will prevail.

good luck all

Cybit doubles number of Accredited Resellers with more set to follow

Telematics provider sets sights on capturing small to medium fleet market with solutions available from as little as 20 per vehicle per month
New modular version of Cybit's Fleetstar-Online telematics technology
supports full range of Reseller requirements - from entry-level 'reporting-only' offering to more comprehensive solutions
Cybit, the UK's leading online telematics service provider, has announced
that it has doubled its number of Accredited Resellers in the last month.
More are set to follow as Cybit focuses on working with resellers to capture
the small to medium sized fleet sector through a new modular version of its
Fleetstar-Online technology platform. This latest generation of Fleetstar-Online enables channel partners to offer a scalable solution with value added functions such as Smartnav intelligent navigation and an entry-level 'reporting-only' solution with prices starting from around 20 per month.

Cybit has quickly established itself as the market leader for Internet-based
telematics-enabled fleet management solutions. The latest release of
Fleetstar-Online introduces a unique modular approach to fleet management,
allowing smaller businesses access to industry leading technology that was
previously available only to major enterprises. In the last month Cybit has
increased its reseller coverage from seven outlets to 16, with several more
resellers due to come on line before the end of September. Each of Cybit's
newly Accredited Resellers has passed through a stringent selection and
training process and will operate in predetermined territories.

"Our growing reseller channel provides access to a large section of the market previously unavailable to us via our traditional channels to market. This is a significant step for Cybit and means we are clearly on track towards achieving our aggressive reseller recruitment goals by the end of the financial year," commented Ian Walmsley, Director of Partnerships. "We are focused on recruiting forward thinking channel partners who have the resources and commitment to provide customers with the significant return-on-investment that Cybit's scalable telematics solutions offer."

One reseller to benefit from its partnership with Cybit is Supreme Services,
a well-established auto electrical specialist in the North West. Martin Stretch from Supreme Services commented: "The introduction of Cybit's range of telematics solutions to our product portfolio has enabled us to retain existing customers, acquire new business and generate significant revenues with attractive margins."

Resellers such as Supreme Services will also be able to take advantage of
Fleetstar-Online's broad range of functionality and incremental upgrade
capability. Working with Cybit and its new Fleetstar-Online release provides
resellers with both significant service differentiation and upsell opportunities, giving them the flexibility to work even more closely with customers and provide them with further telematics capabilities as business requirements evolve and develop.

So... what are we waiting for now then?

Nice rise early in the week but now a progressive fall-back.

Waiting sux!

rampage - 17 Sep 2004 09:46 - 2344 of 3104

MillionDollarMan
It sure does
How much would you stand to gain when (and I mean when) CYH reaches 10p?
How long would it take you to earn that in the daily grind?
The only difference is, that with your CYH shares you dont have to work for it !!
Patience will be rewarded

MillionDollarMan - 17 Sep 2004 13:24 - 2345 of 3104

rampage: I totally agree, patience pays! Its just the part inbetween I hate ;)

Anyway, the tables have turned and its on its way up!

>How much would you stand to gain when (and I mean when) CYH reaches 10p?

Many many k's 8) - I wouldn't be going hungry this winter... thats for sure!

skids - 17 Sep 2004 14:54 - 2346 of 3104

I can't see CYH getting to 10p in the next 5 years personally!? Don't get me wrong, I am a holder, but margins are small and progress hasn't been quick. 4/5p is the initial target for end of 2005 in my book.

Kivver - 17 Sep 2004 15:59 - 2347 of 3104

I agree skids, and that would be a nice tick up!!

skids - 17 Sep 2004 16:51 - 2348 of 3104

yep, x2/x3 your money isn't a bad investment.

Pumacat - 18 Sep 2004 14:02 - 2349 of 3104

While I do sadly have to accept the cautious outlook I am hoping as I think we all are that the reseller program gains momentum (more likley as cyh have doubled their number of resellers and are concentrating on a more niche market).

If it does I think we may see some further significant growth in the share within the next 6 months.

Dont know, I hope so.
