You are really being most unfair to the new Management of Stanelco.

They are working extremely hard and the results of such hard work are bearing fruit.

If running a business was so easy - everyone would be doing it.

Wait for the 21st and then you will all have something to think about!!

qtheman - 06 Mar 2007 20:12 - 23811 of 27111

pinnacle, what tosh, "They are working extremely hard and the results of such hard work are bearing fruit."

Like what??

I am not having a dig but surely if such hard work was bearing any fruit then they would have to tell the man from Del Monte?

patel04 - 06 Mar 2007 20:12 - 23812 of 27111

yaa yaa

pinnacle - 06 Mar 2007 21:36 - 23813 of 27111

I wonder if I will hear anything from you doubters after the 21st March?

You will not get me to reveal what I know - it's up to you to do your own research.

If you did - and if you had any commercial knowledge then you would see for yourself that the future is very good indeed.

It's your loss if you prefer to take no notice - I really do not care what others think of my post - I sometimes wonder why I bother!!!

I will therefore keep quiet until the 21st March - when everything will be revealed.

greekman - 07 Mar 2007 07:33 - 23814 of 27111

Pinnacle,

Although I don't agree with your views re the present management, please keep posting.
Differing views are what make these threads interesting.
I agree that the 21st is THE DATE, and only then will we know how good this management really is.

If they have been working hard to good effect, even allowing for their lack of news releases compared to the old management, most of us do feel like the proverbial mushroom.

Cheers Greek.

hewittalan6 - 07 Mar 2007 07:36 - 23815 of 27111

Pinnacle,
As Greek says, keep posting.
I will happily admit to harbouring a certain amount of doubt at the moment, but I have also been among the most bullish on here at times, and I hope to be again, later this month, providing my re-entry point for that 80% comes first!!

Pinnacle I have a strong feeling that your optimism is justified. So do the 30 guys who have bought in the last hour (including me!). Some posters have not appreciated the change in management style - no RNS unless legally required. Even the AFX re Adept was a report from the Indian Economic Times. That itself was interesting in terms of the source's comment that Stanelco were selling because it wasn't (my words) a core business and that they were concentrating on R/F technology. They can sell the business, including patents, and still keep the expertise which is required in relation to their Biotech stake.

I current trading is an indication it seems likely that there will be a fair amount of buying ahead of the Prelims. It seems a good time to take a stake even if you sell part ahead of te results to hedge your bets. I do expect a positive scenario then even if there are still not the hard orders (beyond the first real GreenSeal!!!)

I have just been told that 24/03/2007 will be a red letter day for SEO.
The person telling me was not going to tell me why or any more detail, but when I said surely you mean 21st (results) he insisted he meant the 24th.
I have no idea what he was hinting at but it may be another piece of a jigsaw for someone out there. His source was in the Chinese community and were preparing a relatively large buy. Don't know if Chinese is relevant or not.
I really and honestly know no more than this.

I agree that there is "something in the air" now with signs that the company is at last beginning to wake up. Also this is the latest on their website:-

ISO 14001 Certified!

More good news as we are pleased to announce that we have achieved the ISO 14001 certification showing our continued commitment to environmental sustainability.

As for a red letter/ China; seems right! :o)

kimoldfield - 07 Mar 2007 13:21 - 23819 of 27111

It is nice to see SEO doing a bit more self-promotion on their website, inviting people to visit them at EasyFair today and tomorrow.

greekman - 07 Mar 2007 13:32 - 23820 of 27111

Alan,

As you state it was something someone told you (so obviously I take it in that context).
Can't see it being anything to do with China, as that country, including it's financial workers are a bit of an enigma.
I think if there is news, it must come on the 21st if it is available.
The 24th is also a Saturday, so this makes me a bit more suspicious of this being a red letter day.

EWRobson - 07 Mar 2007 13:35 - 23821 of 27111

The buying persists. Mostly by purchases of odd amounts between 17,000 and 22,000. That is only around 250 a time. Don't understand the logic. Mostly AT transactions -automated trades on SEAQ so that presumably the seller(s) have packaged the amount in small dollops and they are being soaked up by buyer(s). A by-product appears to be that considerable volumes are traded without the price moving because the MMs are not involved. I bought about 130,000 (CFD) and had to pay 1.22 as largest volume at 1.20 was 50,000 (as I am only paying for 32,500 it means that three commissions are not justified). Anyone provide clarification?

Eric

micky468 - 07 Mar 2007 13:38 - 23822 of 27111

maybe he ment April 1 thats agood red letter day.

EWRobson - 07 Mar 2007 13:40 - 23823 of 27111

Even more fascinating. The purchases are being made every two minutes two seconds! It appears that there is an automated system making purchases every two minutes. That's 30 an hour or 7500 worth. The plus for the buyer appears that he is not actually driving the price up. Curiouser and curiouser!

Eric

EWRobson - 07 Mar 2007 13:41 - 23824 of 27111

Must be a chinaman!

EWRobson - 07 Mar 2007 13:42 - 23825 of 27111

Or perhaps a googlie!

hewittalan6 - 07 Mar 2007 13:48 - 23826 of 27111

Greek,
Thats why I kept insisting it must be the 21st, but they kept insisting the 24th, even when told it was a Saturday.
I have no idea if the rumour is justified or not. I only posted it out of completeness and becasue it may make sense to someone else. It doesn;t to me.

Please forgive my ignorance, but, 'red letter day'. Is that a positive or negative.
