Being lazy!

Greyhound - 19 May 2008 15:03 - 2451 of 3050

Check out the chart at the top of the PVCS thread.

ptholden - 19 May 2008 16:08 - 2452 of 3050

Quite a remarkable turnaround from 2 and in auction as I currently type. Very difficult to take a trading position on SOLA with the NYSE connection. The Yanks have clearly gome 'mad' for this company, but when it does come off I wonder how severe the retrace will be?

Greyhound - 19 May 2008 16:15 - 2453 of 3050

Quite remarkable.

ateeq180 - 19 May 2008 19:03 - 2454 of 3050

I dont see why this cant reach higher than ten pounds,as the trend is still up,why talk negative, fair enough nothing goes up in a straight line, but enjoy whilst it last.people are still buying in anticipation that the sector is flavour of the month.good luck to all who are still in.

cynic - 19 May 2008 19:20 - 2455 of 3050

and it is at exactly that point that the wise take profits

ateeq180 - 20 May 2008 12:50 - 2456 of 3050

Profit taking,i hope.

cynic - 20 May 2008 13:52 - 2457 of 3050

as i told you, though seemingly you were not that wise!

halifax - 20 May 2008 15:32 - 2458 of 3050

US very bullish of solar shares at the moment I would wait for this fashion to decline.

cynic - 20 May 2008 15:38 - 2459 of 3050

to do what?

ateeq180 - 20 May 2008 15:46 - 2460 of 3050

wait till it gets to 1000p a share may be.

HARRYCAT - 20 May 2008 17:03 - 2461 of 3050

Shorters waiting in the wings with anticipation?!!!

ateeq180 - 20 May 2008 19:58 - 2462 of 3050

Bad day all around, hoping for a swift recovery tomorrow or thursday with a bang, this will touch new highs once the markets are in positive territory again.hope i am right.

R88AVE - 20 May 2008 20:26 - 2463 of 3050

IMO wait until 640p before going long (previous resistance should become new support)

ptholden - 20 May 2008 20:53 - 2464 of 3050

640p is very tenuous support, was only ever tested twice as resistance over a 2 year period. Personally I think after such a rocket like rise a 50% fib retracement is more likely, in the region of 460p, which from a TA perspective is significantly more robust (assuming of course there is a retracement of significance).

R88AVE - 20 May 2008 21:26 - 2465 of 3050

I think you would be very lucky indeed to buy back 460p!

ateeq180 - 20 May 2008 21:31 - 2466 of 3050

This company have proved every ones analysis wrong so far, thing happen very fast ,i mean shift in share price.i am really hoping for 800p a share than even thinking of 460p.which i dont think with all the positives so far will fall back to those levels.

ptholden - 20 May 2008 22:02 - 2467 of 3050

Lucky, why?
Look through the fundamentals, a matter of debate if SOLA is worth anything like the current SP. The only reason it is hitting new highs is because of the US factor. The tail wagging the dog and what happens when they move on?

cynic - 21 May 2008 06:43 - 2468 of 3050

hi Peter ..... shame you will miss the jollies ..... need to get your bosses better organised - lol!

i don't disagree with you, but as with knowing when to jump in, knowing when to short opr even jump out is equally difficult ..... for sure sp will fall, even if only a very sharp and overdue correction, and that will happen (at the latest) when crude prices (also inevitably) tumble.
