OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.
No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.
So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Hmmmm, looks to me like you may have had enough already. However, as it's you here's an Empire State Special! (Pours Guinness into an enormous glass, thin at the top large, at the bottom.)

Oh dear. Well there's a very good firm in Russia called Lezterp. Bit of a journey but it might be worth the trip!
I think I might take a day off from eating.

Yummy! Thanks for those Bunny, a real blast from the past! :o)
Here you go KEAYDIAN, I've saved you a prawn!
Alex, you appear to have made a correct deduction! Apart from the statement "And on the 1st October 2008 the most significant development happened... a major industry giant agreed to partner the Falklands oil project and pay for the drilling to begin" (an announcement that FOGL, in which FKL has a stake, had entered into a farm-out agreement with a subsidiary of BHP Billiton was made on 2 October 2007 may be what TB is referring to). If there is oil in them thar underwater hills, there will a massive scramble for a few oilers. The first discovery will be made when I'm on holiday on a remote island with no connection to the outside world! :0)
