Oily

Sorry for deleting post but you never know how sensitive to comment some people may be..
Totally agree with sentiment.

Greekman

Would be happy to comment on your findings re misrepresentation. However as Elizabeth is Deputy Chairmen Regulatory Decisions Committee at the FSA I doubt you will get very far.

It does beg the question what she did as Non Exec from Sep 2003 (which covers the Greenseal hype period)to cast an impartial eye on the Boards activities.

Any lawyers out there?

Fred

NO good outcomes for PI's.

We have seen the new bods completely trash the SP by clearing the decks via writeoffs & issuing a negative RNS(by the way this is standard issue for incumbent CEO's-clear the decks so that any improvement looks good);next stage is either an MBO (which PM has been involved in previously) or a sale at a knock down price to a competitor. The rationale will be that PI's will be grateful to accept a buyout price at a low level following a catastrophic slump in SP.

Hope I'm wrong .

Biotec will be a goldmine for whoever gets control.

Pinnacle
I've been scrabbling around many bits of paper for your number ( I really must get organised and put all numbers in a cross-referenced index).
I think I have it - does your mobile number end with 55?
If so I'll ring it in the morning.
Thanks and best wishes.

I think Elizabeth is half the problem.

As senior non exec - it was her responsibility to monitor the performance of the Execs and the performance of the share price. She watched the share price plummet from 30+p to it current low levels and did insufficient to monitor and correct the performance of its execs.

The sooner she goes - the happier I will be

pinnacles - 01 Jun 2007 08:28 - 24606 of 27111

Tony,

Yes it does - please ring me!

Oilywag - 01 Jun 2007 09:29 - 24607 of 27111

I have a dream!

I have a dream that Elizabeth's surname will change to Filkout very soon.

The sooner the better!

The oily one

Were those imaginary friends of Alan's imaginary or did i imagine it ?

jimward9 - 01 Jun 2007 11:14 - 24612 of 27111

Greenseal !
I would like to know exactly what the problem is.
If its to slow for food packing, it could still be used for other things, all may not be lost yet.

garyble - 01 Jun 2007 11:36 - 24613 of 27111

Give it up Jim.

The question should be precisely what are the patents being challenged?.....Starpol, Wrap...?

jimward9 - 01 Jun 2007 12:15 - 24614 of 27111

i see your glass is 3/4 empty, mine is 1/4 full nearly!

Tonyrelaxes - 01 Jun 2007 12:19 - 24615 of 27111

Kimoldfield/Greekman

I can't remember which of you said you were thinking of complaining about matters to the FSA.
Although I agree with others this is unlikely to result in anything more than another pile of correspondance, if you are actually embarking on this please Email me tonyrelaxes@hotmail.com

From Monday night I am away and generally out of touch for many weeks. Oh how I would like a NICE surprise when I get back to civilisation.

sellsell - 01 Jun 2007 12:24 - 24616 of 27111

Tony, before you go, do you still believe (hope!) there is a future with SEO. Do you have any insight you could share that might help lift all the gloom?

Thanks and wishing you a great trip!

Tonyrelaxes - 01 Jun 2007 13:05 - 24617 of 27111

Gosh - thats testing my brain !!
I have no great insight or knowledge other than what is out there for all to find out.

2 or 3 years ago SEO had the ideas/products but were basically a bunch of boffins not business people.

They bought Biotec for twice Sphere's bid. The purchase appeared brilliant except they probably couldn't afford it alone and certainly they felt they needed Sphere on board with it to retain them as BioTecs biggest customer and sold them half. That deal is now beginning to look flawed. Did our boffins get outwitted by the French as well as events?

New management came, again more technical than commercial, but significantly moved the internal structuring and financing forward. But they could well have suffered from a behind the scenes vengance campaign from the displaced old management.

We now have a proven businessman in charge, appointed and backed by Institutions. Hopefully unhindered and untainted by the past politics.

He has been coming to terms with what he inherited. Clearly saying some hitherto unpalatable things and shelving a sacred cow or two.

It would be nice to say I think they will succeed, but is that my hope rather than a fair assessment?

Assuming they do start to realise the potential my only fear is being taken out at a price that would not truely reflect that potential. It would look very good on PMs CV and the Institutional Investors to have come, seen, turned it and sold it at (say) 4 times what it was in a short period. But that still won't look too rosy in my portfolio.

Although in or near cities at times during the next two weeks as I ride east, after that for the large part of where I am going on a motorbike there is hardly any electricity, certainly no Internet, or any telephone coverage for miles and miles, in fact days. Therefore worrying about SEO is pointless.
I will just relax.....

pinnacles - 01 Jun 2007 13:09 - 24618 of 27111

I will make my decision on this next week after my intelligence is up-dated.

However, to be honest the price is so low now, I might as well see this one to the bitter end.

tweenie - 01 Jun 2007 13:41 - 24619 of 27111

Where do you go to get your intelligence updated?

I want shares in that technology.
:-)

boldtrader - 01 Jun 2007 13:45 - 24620 of 27111

Thanks for your candid viewpoint Tony, have a great trip.pinnacles I trust You may share any updated "intelligence" and regarding your last sentence I, and I no doubt, many others will be in the very same boat and I hope its not the Titanic.Cheers.
