Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Behive Keaydian!

KEAYDIAN - 04 Nov 2009 15:36 - 2476 of 4886

(parp) Oops.

stockbunny - 04 Nov 2009 16:07 - 2477 of 4886

I don't know can't take you anywhere! ;>)

kimoldfield - 05 Nov 2009 08:59 - 2478 of 4886

Yummy! Thanks for those Bunny, a real blast from the past! :o)

Here you go KEAYDIAN, I've saved you a prawn!

Alex, you appear to have made a correct deduction! Apart from the statement "And on the 1st October 2008 the most significant development happened... a major industry giant agreed to partner the Falklands oil project and pay for the drilling to begin" (an announcement that FOGL, in which FKL has a stake, had entered into a farm-out agreement with a subsidiary of BHP Billiton was made on 2 October 2007 may be what TB is referring to). If there is oil in them thar underwater hills, there will a massive scramble for a few oilers. The first discovery will be made when I'm on holiday on a remote island with no connection to the outside world! :0)

KEAYDIAN - 05 Nov 2009 09:04 - 2479 of 4886

Em....rather not, it's bound to be off.

You eat it!

kimoldfield - 05 Nov 2009 09:26 - 2480 of 4886

It's only a day old, just a bit warm that's all. Last chance.

KEAYDIAN - 05 Nov 2009 10:28 - 2481 of 4886

I must insist you have it.

kimoldfield - 05 Nov 2009 10:48 - 2482 of 4886

Half each?

KEAYDIAN - 05 Nov 2009 10:59 - 2483 of 4886

For the last time, NO!Now eat it!

kimoldfield - 05 Nov 2009 11:01 - 2484 of 4886

A quarter for you, three quarters for me?

KEAYDIAN - 05 Nov 2009 13:39 - 2485 of 4886

Cut it up first then.

kimoldfield - 05 Nov 2009 17:38 - 2486 of 4886

(Slice,chop) There!

KEAYDIAN - 05 Nov 2009 18:18 - 2487 of 4886

Ok, who;s going first?

kimoldfield - 05 Nov 2009 19:25 - 2488 of 4886

Oh, well I think it should probably be you. I'm too much of a gent to take first bite!

KEAYDIAN - 05 Nov 2009 19:41 - 2489 of 4886

But I insist.

robertalexander - 05 Nov 2009 21:18 - 2490 of 4886

ok if you two are going to fight over it, pass it here it will liven up my Pot noodle

kimoldfield - 05 Nov 2009 23:21 - 2491 of 4886

Well, I could cut the threequarters in halve which would make um, er let's see, threequarters in halve is erm..........oh, a smaller piece each!

loadsadosh - 05 Nov 2009 23:48 - 2492 of 4886

reference 2486 05 nov if you are cutting up one prawn into a quarter and three quarters. there is no chop both on the grounds that it is a prawn and also the fact that you only disect it once i.e. slice

kimoldfield - 06 Nov 2009 00:19 - 2493 of 4886

Damn it Loadsadosh you've found me out! Ok, there is no chop but what actually happened was that after I had sliced part through the prawn I came across a hard bit, so then I had to give it a swift chop. Nothing wrong with the prawn of course, though it is starting to turn green at it's various edges.

I expect it will be ok though.

KEAYDIAN - 06 Nov 2009 10:10 - 2494 of 4886

Um, green you say. I'll pass thanks.

Eat up.
