OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.
No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.
So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Yummy! Thanks for those Bunny, a real blast from the past! :o)
Here you go KEAYDIAN, I've saved you a prawn!
Alex, you appear to have made a correct deduction! Apart from the statement "And on the 1st October 2008 the most significant development happened... a major industry giant agreed to partner the Falklands oil project and pay for the drilling to begin" (an announcement that FOGL, in which FKL has a stake, had entered into a farm-out agreement with a subsidiary of BHP Billiton was made on 2 October 2007 may be what TB is referring to). If there is oil in them thar underwater hills, there will a massive scramble for a few oilers. The first discovery will be made when I'm on holiday on a remote island with no connection to the outside world! :0)

reference 2486 05 nov if you are cutting up one prawn into a quarter and three quarters. there is no chop both on the grounds that it is a prawn and also the fact that you only disect it once i.e. slice

Damn it Loadsadosh you've found me out! Ok, there is no chop but what actually happened was that after I had sliced part through the prawn I came across a hard bit, so then I had to give it a swift chop. Nothing wrong with the prawn of course, though it is starting to turn green at it's various edges.
I expect it will be ok though.

Anyone doing a fish and chip run today?
If so can I have a large haddock and chips with bread and butter and some tomato ketchup with a mug of tea?
Thanks.
