I still think SOLA is rightful to sell at 660p. No regrets once you are in profit.

"SOLA is clearly a sell now at 575p"
Proved incorrect I feel. lol
As I said, this stock will do the opposite to what you expect.

The chart looks like its going to surpass the high time into next week. Good recovery in US and here. This sp seems to remain bullish.

The chart has just made a lower high and looks destined to fall further to me. But WTFDIK? 660p now a key level for any further rally.

I think SOLA will head downwards but it may not be in a straight line as some people think.

Finished up nearly 7% in US so they still interested unlike UK PI's.

i hope you don't really believe that!
Wall Street is currently much more likely to head south than north, so SOLA is unlikely to buck that trend, especially if NYMEX also continues to weaken

SOLA will be going south next week, I'm with u, cynic.

looks to me that if SOLA do not rally promptly (now barely 600), then continuing sharp fall must be short odds

RNS directors selling shares.

ADS sells has nothing to do with directors selling. ADS is American depositary shares. This is IMO is good news, they will need cash to fund for the expansion plans without having to go lender, therefore the margins/debts will be smaller.
This goes to show the demand from the company is rapidly growing. Dont forget the company recent result profits were triple year-year and have signed 6yr contract with possibly more to come.

A very wise move by Sola-reacting now to market requirements.
Simply not Director selles as we are led to believe.
Directors are selling shares probably on the cheap to ensure that the new issues are kept to a minimum.
Afterall the ADS they hold are a windfall.
8.5m additional ADS will not have a significant dilution issue on current company performance and Sola advisers have probably taken these factors in to account.
All in all a good time to undergo this exercise.
Business is booming and machinery has to be in place.Good forward planning without raising debt levels.

Seems to me whichever way you look at it the directors are cashing in.

Not simply cashing in as you put it.You make it sound as though they are acting with impropriety-which is simply not the case.
If they held on to their ADS they would in my opinion make a lot more money.
Remember certain investment houses are calling the ADS up to $40.
As I said before they are assisting the fundraising in the most appropriate way.
They have taken legal and financial advise. You simply just dont act on a whim in these situations
In my opinion they have acted correctly.

ADR!!
acting correctly and guessing a future price have nothing to do with each other!
certainly promoting the idea of a $40 sp while pushing to get the fundraising well-placed is tantamount to blatant touting - you are warned

So cynic would you short on something that is rapidly growing? If so it would be very short term.
You obviously dont trust this company do you? Its understandable at the early days when they were developing there were a few hiccups here and there which gives doubts and the sp was volitile. Looking at the recent results it looks to me the confident is sky high and sorted all nagging problems.
Whats is your fair price for this then, considering global warming issues etc?

yes i would, especially one that is chinese run, where the directors (i hear) are selling, and when Nymex is dropping.
have not done so yet, though as well documented, have certainly done so in the past.
global warming ..... pah! not immedaitely relevant to sp
fair price ..... no idea and don't much care .... judging direction and impetus is the key
