RTD - Why? (RTD)

Nitefly - 15 Sep 2003 10:55

Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Best of luck all.

nematode

Good post and very relevant as RTD is a good business with a great future.

debuwebu - 26 Oct 2003 16:25 - 252 of 2406

nematode,
Can I ask you how long you intend to hold onto these stocks, as the general view I pick up from this board is after Christmas most people will be dumping a large percentage of their stocks as they feel the price will reach 30 pence or more

Nitefly - 26 Oct 2003 19:31 - 253 of 2406

Well, as always! its about making money. The real questions are, how much is enough and how long dare you keep hold of a block before any MM's hike it back down?

I'm sure everyone will know when the right time has come and no doubt we will all still be talking about it :)

Good luck all!

nematode - 26 Oct 2003 22:55 - 254 of 2406

Well then it's upto each individual but I would say RTD has a great future so when they do reach 30p then top slicing would be better option than selling the lot as there could be alot of "heal kicking" when the shares go even higher.

dalrymp - 27 Oct 2003 09:21 - 255 of 2406

nematode

blakester - 27 Oct 2003 17:11 - 261 of 2406

Any particular reason for the job adverts?

nematode - 27 Oct 2003 18:00 - 262 of 2406

Excellent guy,

"Poised for significant further expansion, ReD is seeking two graduate calibre professionals to join its European team."

blakester, read between the lines or on the lines and you'll see the answers you're looking for. This will be 20p,very shortly.3-6 months!

scotinvestor - 27 Oct 2003 20:27 - 263 of 2406

i'm hoping for a lot more than 20p nematode. Rtd should go much higher than that within the next 12 months.

guysands - 27 Oct 2003 22:03 - 264 of 2406

Don't worry about RTD.

They are making moves in the right direction - bigger than we know.

Frustrating of course to see RTD down at 10p, virtually half it's fair value - but be patient. Good news is arround the corner.

Better than expected second half profits + new contract + new Development and Marketing Managers = new share price @ around 20p (100% growth)

In my opinion the above is just a matter of when, not if.

By Christmas we could have seen enough good news to see RTD up to 20p.

dalrymp - 28 Oct 2003 10:25 - 265 of 2406

Guysands

Did you see the SurfControl RNS. Jane Tozer MBE has joined SRF as a non exec director. I think she will prove to be a real asset to SRF and RTD.

Thanks for printing the job ads. It shows rtd are going the right way.

Some very nice buys today!!!!!!!!!!!!

blakester - 29 Oct 2003 07:50 - 266 of 2406

Anyones guess on the day - further advance/decline?

nematode - 29 Oct 2003 08:31 - 267 of 2406

Should tick up today!I would think very quietly but surely this will rise in the next few weeks beyond 13p.

blakester - 29 Oct 2003 12:01 - 268 of 2406

Going down a treat already!

dalrymp - 29 Oct 2003 12:24 - 269 of 2406

blakester

What do you mean?
