Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I remember my aunt telling me, when she was nearly eighty, that she saw herself reflected in a shop window and thought, "who is that old woman". Then she realised it was her. She felt about 25.

"Going to do battle with my house insurance company now - it never ends. Got £100 compensation from the Halifax on Wednesday ".........ends
The Halifax are a bag of ---te. I tried to renew my house policy with them in January. What a palaver, switched from one section to another and got back to the starting point. So frustrating. Was on phone for over an hour, in end gave up and contacted my broker who deals with my holiday homes.
35% less, I kid you not and contents thrown in for free.
Think its only a 1 year offer mind.
But the halifax used to be the cream of the cream the Marks and Spencer of the Building Society Mortgage market. What a fall from grace, and I worked for them for 15 months as management accountant in Leeds call centre.
Staff where more bothered about their monthly/ annual bonus than giving customer care/satisfaction.
Wont go anywhere near them now.
Virgin and Santander are just as bad. Especially Santander.

Dont think it does for me but the pain is really bad, been looking at herb treatments.

Liquid Cortaflex for humans is good for joints. There are also equine and dog versions of Cortaflex, so make sure you buy the correct version or you could end up either running in the 2.30 at Newmarket, or barking. I fear I am to late with this warning for some on here. Ha! Ha!

Haystack, when I first started going grey - I used to do what your Aunt did but got used to it now and don't look in shop windows, it is bad enough looking in the mirror, hehehe!! Everything going North, South, West and East.
Junior, it has its advantages being older and plenty of disadvantages. Still good to be alive. Even with lots of memories.

No, I am not explaining myself very well - On the very top of my computer in the right hand corner there used to be google search which I used to type anything in I wanted to know - I used to have Halifax bank and sharedealing and Hotmail up there. Something happened and my internet stopped working it restarted and now I have MSN homepage which I have always had but the top google search box has gone with the Halifax etc., and now I have msn homepage with Bing written in a box. I don't like bing and want to go back to what it was. Rather hard to explain so I shall take it to a PC shop tomorrow, it will be fine for tonight. Thanks anyway.
