Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I have lots of happy drunken memories of Quendon. We were there in 1980 while the Iranian Embassy siege was on. We were playing croquet in the front garden. There was also a friend there from not far from Quendon who was a parliamentary correspondent and news broadcaster. He fretted all day long about whether to go into town because of the news. In the end he just kept drinking and watching the TV. I had taken another friend with us who got drunker and drunker. We lost him for a few hours and later we found him in the garden playing croquet in the pitch black. I am sure you know how dark it gets in Quendon. A few years later I was driving away from there in the dark. I was going very slowly to get used to the dark and got pulled by the police for driving too slowly. The police were convinced that I had stolen the car. They asked me the registration and I couldn't remember it. It was a Porsche 944 Turbo in guards red.

Don't worry about it Junior I am not. Just Chill it is my problem and it will get sorted - after all people have done their best. Thanks for putting the SOS out to skinny. I am sure if he could he would help - just relax that knee and stop bothering now. Have a pint or two. Oh! I lost one of my carp last week called Fang - floating on the top of the water - most destroyed I was but the other 5 are still surviving thankfully. My pond pump packed in and they were in dire straites lacking from of oxygen - got a new one now (pump) so all seems to be fine apart from one ghost koi having white spot so am treating the pond water but can only do it every 10 days so fingers crossed. Seriously chill out.

Haystack I really enjoyed the film Mamma Mia I thought the story was quite true to life. The music was fantastic, people were all up dancing in the cinema where I was and I was crying my eyes out at the end. However we are all different and that is what makes the world tick.

The film is a remake of Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell with Telly Savalas, Gina Lola etc. I just can't stand Pierce Brosnan singing or dancing.

I would be crying as well if I had to watch Mamma Mia, but for different reasons.

Okay Haystack but I still enjoyed it, I must have been working hard when Buona Sera came out - however not to quibble. May be women have a different view of Pierce Brosnan and Clint Eastwood for that matter - and no I did not wear my dirty white mack. Do see the funny side. Gina Lola does not do anything for me - thankfully.

I can see the appeal of Clint Eastwood on many levels. Pierce Brosnan is so wooden and seemingly untalented.

Whatever is not the accepted word but whatever one can dream. I look back now as Clint Eastwood gets older and wonder why did I have a hot spot for him but many could say the same about me - ageing a difficult process. Pierce Brosnan is a different kettle of fish to the ageing woman. ho ho ho!!!!!

3m i think all you got to do is this. along side the search box where it says BING SEARCH will be the button to search the internet, along side that is a drop down arrow button, click this and you get a list of search engines loaded on your comp. Right click on google and tick to make default. plus you can right click on bing and any others in the list and delete them. The loss of halifax site and others, depends on if you had them as TABS along side your home page of msn, or they were in your favourites FOLDER in the list under the favourites button, in which case they would be displayed in a line under the address bar and above the tabs. Or it could be on your google tool bar, either way go to tools button and drop down to TOOLBARS and put a tick in either or both favourites bar or google bar and they will appear at the top of your screen. this sounds most likeky as you would have to add the halifax site to your home page as another tab which i don't think is your case. hope this helps.
