Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Morning all. I bet you'll nod off in front of your computer Spacie; I just did, and I haven't been half way round the world like you!

stockbunny - 19 Jan 2009 07:54 - 269 of 4886

Just chuck another Skippy on the Barbie Spacie!

skinny - 19 Jan 2009 09:01 - 272 of 4886

Blimey - just misread post 271 and thought I was in trouble - better have a large cranberry juice to calm my nerves.

kimoldfield - 19 Jan 2009 09:16 - 273 of 4886

Sorry skinny!

Spaceman - 19 Jan 2009 09:24 - 274 of 4886

Kim, I did try a bit of skippy a couple of trips ago, wasnt too bad but I am not a great fan of red meat. I preferred crocodile, and guess what? yes it tastes a bit like chicken.....

kimoldfield - 19 Jan 2009 10:17 - 275 of 4886

Somehow chicken and crocodile are words that go together well! Not tried croc yet but I enjoyed kangaroo, though my favourite is ostrich. Couldn't help but feel guilty, though that wasn't really rational!

kimoldfield - 19 Jan 2009 15:00 - 281 of 4886

Weyhey! Digestives, not all broken this time! Erm, there are 3 elderly Philippinian ladies outside, they say they have an appointment with "Mr KEAYDIAN": shall I let them in?

KEAYDIAN - 19 Jan 2009 15:45 - 282 of 4886

Aye Kim

(puff puff puff)

Send them through

(blurpty blurpty blurp)

kimoldfield - 19 Jan 2009 16:08 - 283 of 4886

Come on in ladies!

Hey, whoa, don't do that!! Nooo, get off me, I'm not "Mr Keaydian", he's through there - just follow the smoke trail and ignore the strange noises!

kimoldfield - 19 Jan 2009 20:47 - 284 of 4886

OK, on the One Show tonight they were highlighting the virtues of blueberries and how a regular intake can improve the memory, so I've bought a load and they are on the menu alongside the cranberries. Erm, er, right.......hmmm, yep ok erm, where the hell did I put them?
