Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

PW - Can you try a refresh on that screen CTRL F5.

If this doesn't work, please close all browsers and try again,

BrianTrayda,

Please assume that the terminal logon problem has not been resolved unless I have posted to the contrary.

It will be worked on shortly. Our current bug 'tofix' list contains (and these are being worked on in order):
Trades stockwatch holding last days data when no new trades reported
Terminal Logon problem
yellow strip on L2 showing incorrectly in auction
Level2 Status strip no longer showing.
News flag now showing on streaming until refresh.
FTSE Indices when entered into stockwatch should not have a bid and offer

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Oct 2004 08:59 - 2689 of 7315

maddoctor,

I will see if I can replicate the problem and come back to you.

Regards

Ian

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Oct 2004 09:02 - 2690 of 7315

maddoctor,

I cannot replicate this but, we think it may be affecting a small number of users and may be being caused by a problem at our suppliers - JT has contacted them to take a look into this.

Ian

maddoctor - 13 Oct 2004 09:07 - 2691 of 7315

Ian , thanks but why not all users??

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Oct 2004 09:09 - 2692 of 7315

maddoctor,

we are not sure but JT thinks it may be a DNS problem at their end (please don't ask me what that means :-)

I have mailed you with a few instructions - could you take a look and mail me back please?

Regards

Ian

maddoctor - 13 Oct 2004 09:13 - 2693 of 7315

Ian , things to do will come back to you later

Priscilla - 13 Oct 2004 09:25 - 2694 of 7315

Ian, I've just noticed JT's 'To Do' list and the prices problem on the mobile service isn't on there! It's such a great tool to have, it would be a shame if it couldn't be fixed......! Could you sweet-talk him into adding it, please?
