Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

cynic - 14 Jun 2016 12:29 - 2944 of 12628

One of Europe's highest courts has backed the UK in a case brought against it on welfare benefits for EU migrants.

In a judgement today, the European Court of Justice said the UK's "right to reside" test for certain family benefits was legitimate, after the European commission brought a case against it arguing that it discriminates against child migrants.

==========

how frightfully generous of the european courts!
no doubt the remainers will bring this forward as an example of how things can be changed or similar from inside the system

Almost certainly.

The Project Fear campaign has backfired so expect more of the same and some belated concessions to try and get us to vote IN.

It is interesting that at least one union, the RMT, is backing a leave vote.

cynic - 14 Jun 2016 15:19 - 2948 of 12628

so is corbyn

Haystack - 14 Jun 2016 15:35 - 2949 of 12628

Corbyn said today that leaving the EU could destroy the NHS. I see he has been taking lessons in lying from both sides of the campaign.

cynic - 14 Jun 2016 15:37 - 2950 of 12628

he's no doubt been instructed to say that by unite and the other puppetmasters

MaxK - 14 Jun 2016 15:38 - 2951 of 12628

Everything is ok...until after the referendum, then they will reverse the decision.

Tony Blair has gone to the Vatican to ask the Pope to help the remain campaign

cynic - 14 Jun 2016 16:22 - 2953 of 12628

put not your trust in princes .... especially those of the church

Haystack - 14 Jun 2016 16:58 - 2954 of 12628

ESPECIALLY!

iturama - 14 Jun 2016 18:21 - 2955 of 12628

Maybe Blair has gone to confess his sins. I trust he took his sidekick Brown with him.
I think the Pope is a good man, despite being Argentinian. ;) Kirchner tried to get him involved with the Falklands but he ignored her and the meeting only lasted a couple of minutes.

MaxK - 14 Jun 2016 18:55 - 2957 of 12628

es schien eine gute Idee zu der Zeit

grannyboy - 14 Jun 2016 21:07 - 2958 of 12628

Labour are having to come round to mentioning immigration, but they are
putting across the idea that the EU are open to reform, which they're not,
So Labour are just trying to deceive the public once again by making it
appear that they are concerned..WHICH THEY'RE NOT!!

grannyboy - 15 Jun 2016 12:48 - 2959 of 12628

The back slapping and collusion between the pro-eu remainer's in PMQ's,
from both Tory and Labour has been nauseating to behold.

And like i stated a week or so ago, that in my experience something
will turn up and turn the tide to LEAVE, and that's this so called post
budget, with threats of tax rises and less funding for the NHS that
Osborne and Darling have put their names to...

More then 57 Tory MP's have said they will vote against it along with
the Labour party and the other anti austerity parties...

ITS DOOMED EVEN BEFORE THE INKS DRY...AND JUST MORE SCAREMONGERING
FROM THE DECEITFUL ELITE!!!

Haystack - 15 Jun 2016 12:51 - 2960 of 12628

It is possible that today might have been Cameron's last PMQs. I doubt it, but it is a possibility.

Joe Say - 15 Jun 2016 13:06 - 2961 of 12628

please, please be true

Possibly the weakest PM ever

grannyboy - 15 Jun 2016 13:39 - 2962 of 12628

Not only one of the weakest, but also the most treacherous, deceitful,
lying, and shallow of an individual, along with his busom buddy osborne.

Haystack - 15 Jun 2016 13:46 - 2963 of 12628

Cameron has been the best leader and PM for years, certainly since Major.
