ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

if he'd bought them from ASOS, one would probably have fallen off on the runway ..... but at least he would not have burnt up

jkd, you son of the...charts speculation :))
fundamentals.no others options.best way.
technicals..yup, man.. bit of charts as recent homework, to cover whole possible picture of madness, for a bit to accelerate few % ,but just ...
but my favorite at the moment would be candlesticks, love huge history behind it..
and for your relax i was in and im out (2928- i know you love that precission)
okay man, see what i think , now, we may have bump and run formation by thomas bulkowski from 1997 , highest top of bump measured from lead-in is more than 2x than highest top of lead-in and angle of bump basis is more than 50% from lead-in basis angle, jump in volume at beginning of bump also. now you've got your 'angle can't be sustain'..why not? come back to fundamentals
got that?
:))

cynic - 09 Jul 2010 14:02 - 2947 of 5941

money now married to mouth at 889, so let's see if my hunch proves profitable ..... shame it's such an illiquid stock

tomasz - 09 Jul 2010 15:59 - 2948 of 5941

announcement made after closing.tricky game going on..

WOODIE - 14 Jul 2010 07:08 - 2951 of 5941

highlights:

Retail sales up 54%, group revenues up 48%

Strong UK and international sales, +32% and +111% respectively

International sales mix now accounts for 37% of total retail sales

Retail gross margin ahead of prior year

Nick Robertson, CEO, commented:

"I am pleased to report our strong sales momentum continued through the first quarter. Our retail sales are up 54% over the period, despite the impact of an extra week of sale activity in the comparable period last year.

"UK sales continue to perform strongly, up 32% and international sales, which now represent 37% of the total, remain robust at 111%.

"It is too early in the financial year to assume that these levels of sales will continue for the remaining three quarters; however we remain confident that this year will be another year of excellent progress."

looks as though i've called this one wrong, as least for now, as bid book is 2x offer, but i shall stay put

that said, i remain amazed, not least because one of the directors sold a big slab at 890 just yesterday

This has to be the best stock on the market ever....along with perhaps Microsoft, and Cairn.....fabulous company....

cynic - 14 Jul 2010 13:34 - 2954 of 5941

it also has a pretty fabulous p/e, but there is an old adage about not pissing against the wind ..... perhaps i should have done as was sorely tempted to sell more at 959!

btw, both microsoft and CNE (especially) go through very volatile times, whatever the companies' underlying merits

mitzy - 14 Jul 2010 14:13 - 2955 of 5941

cynic - 07 Aug 2010 10:53 - 2962 of 5941

tomasz - you speak with forked tongue as always

tomasz - 08 Aug 2010 21:45 - 2963 of 5941

hahaha..
do your homework..
and if you're worried about other people, you're certainly not alone:around third of the population regularly has suspicious or paranoid thoughts.
so, stop crying big boy and get the grip.
just check stochastic and see oversold, that means is ready to go up according to no tragedy in business and soon update.you're some break even so not bad in this hour.to be start short at stoch.oversold is sense if you know next day news droping the bomb.
just don't read with forked brain.good luck

ptholden - 08 Aug 2010 21:52 - 2964 of 5941

The Daily Stoch was also 'over-sold' many times during the rise to 10, does that mean it was a short every time the Stoch peaked? Perverse logic.

Whilst the Stoch may be 'over-sold, the MACD and RSI certainly are not.
