ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

cynic - 12 Aug 2010 07:51 - 2975 of 5941

it's in the money at last though hardly enough to cheer about

tomasz - 17 Aug 2010 13:05 - 2976 of 5941

just bought more at offer 838 but brokers gone with it as short at 837,8 , so they anticipate lower...

ptholden - 17 Aug 2010 17:08 - 2977 of 5941

You're doing well tomasz, you've bought at 876, 863 & 838. Are you going to keep adding all the way down to 750p? The chart is not showing much inclination to stop falling. But hey, that was only my opinion 9 days ago.

cynic - 17 Aug 2010 17:10 - 2978 of 5941

i see no reason at all to buy uk retailers, but then i am already short here

tomasz - 17 Aug 2010 20:10 - 2979 of 5941

ptholden if i know that it goes to 750 then wouldn't buy now.the thing is that i don't know nothing about 750.seems far fetched.do you know what is at 750?

ptholden - 17 Aug 2010 20:25 - 2980 of 5941

The first bit of horizontal support as opposed to the trendline support at 800p. It's the kind of approach that prevents catching falling knives and optimises potential profits

tomasz - 18 Aug 2010 15:48 - 2981 of 5941

woooaaa!!!
to be honest i was expecting turn soon, maybe next week , but not today !! and not that vertical !! must be lots of shorts get squeezed

cynic - 18 Aug 2010 15:49 - 2982 of 5941

not necessarily and not me for sure

tomasz - 18 Aug 2010 15:58 - 2983 of 5941

did you manage get out dry cynic ?

tomasz - 18 Aug 2010 16:31 - 2984 of 5941

well...just hope you manage.not funny that quick turnaround

cynic - 18 Aug 2010 16:36 - 2985 of 5941

still showing b/e at close, so should i be worried?

tomasz - 18 Aug 2010 16:45 - 2986 of 5941

yea you should , whole idea was crazy :))

cynic - 18 Aug 2010 17:07 - 2987 of 5941

i happen to disagree, and conversely think your decision to try to catch the falling knife, rash in the extreme ..... anyway, you do with your money as you will, as i shall likewise

halifax - 18 Aug 2010 17:12 - 2988 of 5941

cynic only 75m issued shares be careful the big players may burn you!

cynic - 18 Aug 2010 17:21 - 2989 of 5941

it's only a short for 1,000 shares so unlikely to do much damage ..... notwithstanding that ASOS has a an excellent business model, i feel it is currently over-priced and quite possibly running out of the exponential growth it has experienced, exacerbated by the ever-tightening uk economic strings that have yet to bite in full

cynic - 18 Aug 2010 17:21 - 2990 of 5941

.

tomasz - 19 Aug 2010 13:07 - 2991 of 5941

cynic, it was just buying discount my dear ,no knives no forks man..lol

tomasz - 19 Aug 2010 17:39 - 2992 of 5941

Sweet end of the day
