That was the sort of illogical response I would expect from a supporter of Israel. Suggest firing rockets at someone because you don't agree with their point of view. There is a considerable difference. Israel has done plenty of things that provoke such a response. There is a strong connection with Israel's policies and the firing of rockets. Israel is going to have to negociate with Hamas at some stage like it or not.

I think Isaac's point illustrates the illogicality of Israel's argument. It is similar to a murderer, who complains about his penalty. And by the way 'Isaacs' should have had an apostrophe as in Isaac's. You either check your spelling and grammar as poorly as I do or you don't understand punctuation rules.

Actually, Haystack, if his bb name was 'Isaac', then "Isaac's" would be correct, but as it's "Isaacs", then both Isaacs' and Isaacs's could be deemed correct, depending on style preferences. (reference)

Mine is only incorrect if you know that his name is Isaacs. I asumed it was Isaac. but of course yours was wrong either way. Mine was grammatically correct and your was incorrect no matter what his name was.

I was not implying that I am never wrong. I was saying that in this instance Gausie was wrong. I did not know what Isaacs name was. My comments were based on his name as shown in Gausie's post and not looking at the names of posters. It is not earth shattering either way. I only commented as Gausie was picking up on a spelling mistake of mine. I don't usually care whether people make mistakes or not. My posts often have many mistakes in them due to a lack of checking.

The German parliament has passed a cross-party motion calling for an end to the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip saying that the blockade was counter-productive.
