OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Jeffers, is it cold up there? Yes I did move which is one of the reasons I have been a little bit low profile. I now live in Birchington on the Isle of Thanet. That's East Kent for those with a lack of knowledge of the England geography. Back to where I was brought up.

Keaydian. By all means stick to your Guinness, but I wanted the CDM to fill up my windscreen washer bottle, high alcohol content and smells fresh too. Might revert to Vodka in the winter months. I stll tend to drink lemonade, with ice and lemon.

Ahem! Sorry for the delay, had my daughter's wedding to attend to. Normality now resumed. Here we go, one bucket of Guinness, one bucket of Cre De Menthe. Help yourselves!

Brilliant day thanks skinny. The sun shone, the peacocks displayed their tails, the orchestra was fantastic and Liverpool band Loose Moose were amazing in the evening. I didn't disgrace myself, which could be a first! There was a bit of a panic in the morning because we could not find the cake! It turned up eventually. The only downside was that the Best Man ended up in hospital with a severe leg infection; despite being pressurised to go immediately he insisted on staying until he had finished his duties. A true hero!

(Heave) One trough of Guinness, slightly warm - there was a pig lying in it before I filled it up!
