morning .just looked at trades. 6p seems to be a key number. 6p to sell brings out the sellers and 6p to buy pulls in the buyers.would like it to steady a bit here before the next bit of news , good or bad.

AdieH - 26 Nov 2004 08:58 - 303 of 27111

Morning all, good news once more, this is good and should help when the result CC is known, pulling away from that now with this new technology...

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 09:02 - 304 of 27111

morning all . good news

Stanelco develops new material format for use in tray manufacture
AFX

LONDON (AFX) - Stanelco PLC said it has developed a new low cost biodegradable starch/PVA film product for use with its radio frequency technology in tray manufacture and thermoform packaging.

Trials of the new product will start in the New Year and, if successful, commercialization will begin in the current financial year.

The company said it is in talks with a number of end users and manufacturers regarding the testing of the technology.

Initially the product will be targeted at organic ranges, which represents about 6 pct of Supermarket produce sales, it said.

this is why i bought seo . for me , this could eventually be the biggest earner in years to come . lack of land fill and legislation will force packaging companies and supermarkets to become more environmentally conscious. biodegradable packaging will have to be the norm . this has colossol potential.

AdieH - 26 Nov 2004 09:47 - 305 of 27111

Agree Bosley, want to buy some more soon.

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 10:24 - 306 of 27111

yep

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 12:41 - 307 of 27111

strange. some big sells so far today , and the price has stayed blue.

AdieH - 26 Nov 2004 13:15 - 308 of 27111

Yes rather strange, MM's holding price are they trying to attract buyers, can't quite understand the sells when we just had more good news but hey what do I know...

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 13:35 - 309 of 27111

maybe people who got in at the bottom, 3.8p, cashing in . sellers early on got 6.3p, multiplied by 600 000 and you got a nice profit, if thats the case. wondering if people are selling now ready to buy back in after the cc annoncement hoping the price will drop dramatically.

AdieH - 26 Nov 2004 13:50 - 310 of 27111

I personally don't think so, I believe the price will probably drop sharply to start with then creep back up for end of play... Like previous times and SEO in better position now.

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 14:11 - 311 of 27111

adie , are we calling this wrong completely? just been re reading the bprg thread to find out when the damages claim is to be settled and it seems it wont be before the end of this month , but in early 2005. shit! i was hoping this whole thing would be put to bed once and for all by end nov. bloody hell!

AdieH - 26 Nov 2004 14:29 - 312 of 27111

These sort of legal things take ages to sort out unfortunately, my understanding is that SEO have to present their (extra) evidence by next week, if they have any that is? (who knows). I think it is correct to assume it won't be sorted till early next year... Lets hope the other tray lidding technology is set by then...

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 17:55 - 313 of 27111

graph.php?startDate=26%2F05%2F04&period=

just been looking at a 6 month graph of seo share price.seems to me that the current price has basically gone back to what it was prior to the start of the patent case with bprg.in the meantime we have had a reasonable flow of good news , from oscar meyer trialing the tray lidding, grampian country foods trialing it to asda trialing the tray lidding, the purchase of aquasol, new patent applications and tray lidding deal with reiser in america. bad news , widening loss and losing the patent dispute with bprg. i would have thought with so much good news that the current price would be higher , unless its been forgotten and ignored because , like we have been saying , the court case took peoples attention away from the rest.the reiser deal alone is worth 4 miliion to seo.

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 17:55 - 314 of 27111

thats 4 million a year.

emailpat - 26 Nov 2004 18:20 - 315 of 27111

bosley-hopefully when result of cc is known you will be able to say it's already in the price!! so won't fall very much... I hope.

bosley - 26 Nov 2004 18:35 - 316 of 27111

that got said a lot earlier in the year , pat, then it fell to sub 4p.i wasnt really trying to make a point , just thinking out loud really.i had forgotten that reiser were american , so , that means they already are in america,so, that means that if asda like the trial , and then walmart take it to america , that means they will have a serious foothold in america , which starts to make tim freeborns ludicrous predictions a little less fanciful, and if other packaging companies use seo technology then that means............ drifting off , spending my millions .....mmmmmmmmm

emailpat - 26 Nov 2004 19:05 - 317 of 27111

bosley-lol

superrod - 27 Nov 2004 17:29 - 318 of 27111

although a fan of seo have you guys/gals never heard of "buy on the rumour, sell on the news "?

its the only mantra that works ( imo )

bosley - 28 Nov 2004 23:16 - 319 of 27111

bosley - 29 Nov 2004 11:43 - 320 of 27111
