I'm afraid I have no idea of the value of your set of books. Since there are various editions, styles of binding and ages it really could be anything. Best ask a book dealer but I suspect, if it is a modern set, as Jeffmack suggests it won't be very much. If you were to see a set for sale in a dealers shop I would reckon he would not offer much more than half that. Private sale would be the way to go. As for buying them, not a chance I regret. I always look up Britannica on the web, it's free you know.
Just an afterthought, but have you tried reading them, LOL.
