Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

if that's the Mail thingy which i guess it is, then quite right too notwithstanding that "your guys" are perfectly happy to have a pop at DC or GO and others re their background and ancestry etc etc

Not really an apology from the Mail. They just said sorry for sending a reporter to his uncle's memorial service. They still stand by their story.

the pic of the gravestone (or whatever it was) was a pretty scabby and shabby thing to do, but no more than should be expected of the gutter press of all hues

Cynic,
Do DC or Gob have ancestry?
Phew.
I wouldn't have wanted them as my legacies.

Not sure why they printed pic of grave. It may be because he is buried close to Karl Mark's memorial monument. Marx is actually buried elsewhere.

Better to get shot before the crowd or you might not even be able to get shot.
Nothing worse than not been able to get through to your broker on OVERLOAD.

i deal on line on L2 and as i work with CFDs rather than s/b (may re-open that a/c), i don't have time-constraint issues
and an interesting comment below ....
the last time the US government was shut down (under President Clinton in late 2005 and early 2006, for a total of 28 days) saw the US stock market perform very strongly. If I remember correctly, the market was cheered by the prospect that a shutdown government could no longer meddle in the free market economy. So I believe that neither the political events in Italy nor the US appear likely to knock the bull-market off trend.

I remember that cynic totaly differing situation, Clinton was in CHARGE so to speak all the way through the talks this time its just a bust up between 2 parties.
RE to CFDs if theirs a bear rush your still not going to be able to trade even with level 2, as supply will be overwhelming.

Fred----As it happens I have just returned from a trip to town with my wife. Re your post 30439. I didn't take much notice of people begging and rarely visit the place after dark nowadays so unaware of dossers. However a few such people I did get to know reasonably well from times when I did frequent the town. There are genuine cases out there, suffering real hardship of that there is no doubt, but you would have us believe that all beggars are poor, many travel hundreds of miles to ply their trade in the more affluent areas, and make a serious amount of money in doing so.
It's great to have you posting here as the ''Champion of all lost causes'' yet in reality you can't be bothered to get off your backside to vote in order to try and improve their lot.
Why the reference re sending me an email and to view my profile

Could be that their isnt one cyners but this time its really nasty.
I tend to switch over at 5 oclock everyday and do a bit on the US markets a few stocks and a bit of forex and oil SBs, in fact Ive got more US boards and sites in FAVS than UK ones, and just lately its been very negative on their boards and sites.
Havent seen it like this since I went online trading in 1997.
Very nasty and negative sentiment about.
