MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

Certainly an informed new investor would not be too happy to put money in at present. I know it can be painful for investors with faith in the company to look at it other than through rose-tinted glasses, it is not easy to step away with a loss. I have held shares since BRPG days but 'dumped' them when cracks started to appear. I feel MDX still does not have the right people in control, which is a shame because the potential is not insignificant. Will they be able to raise the capital needed?, whoever is considering the matter will be taking a very long hard look at the company and may well want changes made before investing. Who knows. I really do hope that they survive and I won't knock those who remain convinced that they will; we all need a bit of faith in something these days!

"Talk about the pro's and cons of the company"

What uckin pro's ????

All its done is bleed investors dry and is still doing so , its a pile of sh*te and always has been.

Dil - 02 Oct 2008 11:38 - 3171 of 8631

20p long gone now tabby ...

littlebert2 - 02 Oct 2008 12:05 - 3172 of 8631

OK, so 1.3 m shares were issued to raise cash ... but at what price? Usually a good idea to tell people that or they make the numbers up ...... if it was 5p, what was the point, and if it was 30p, that would support the SP .....

C'mon BOD, I thought the ministry of misinformation had been replaced!

Dil - 02 Oct 2008 12:13 - 3173 of 8631

If it was 5p it would be because they are desperate and have to take what they can get.

30p .... your having a giraffe !

Why do you think they aren't saying how much they raised ????

ptholden - 02 Oct 2008 12:33 - 3174 of 8631

What is pertinent is that they have had to issue shares to raise cash which reinforces their poor financial position. If they were issued at yesterday's market value of 19p (unlikley) they raised 250k, this is not a great deal of money for a 50M turnover company.

Treblewide - 02 Oct 2008 13:28 - 3175 of 8631

jeez new lows again....

ko
i agree, we all need faith in something these days.
it's that very faith and belief that keeps holders holding.
comes a day, as with you, when we have to say enough is enough.
sell and move on.
of course it's very hard to do,to sell at loss.
it's not a loss until i sell. and if i hold on it might recover.
if i sell now no doubt price will then move on and up.
often it does. and then it reverses yet again. sometimes it doesn't.
it just keeps going up.
and so it goes on.
so whats the answer?
maybe setting a rigid stop loss at time of purchase would help.
this takes much discipline which many of us, myself included at times, dont have.
why?
its the belief along with those rose tinted glasses.
when the belief remains against all odds and hope takes over then thats really decision time. Hope they recover.
it's now too late to sell, im locked in, i've lost too much already i might as well hold on and Hope.
guess thats where all existing holders of this share are at now.
got ya.
get the picture frame ready.
just my opinion.
regards to all
jkd

"maybe setting a rigid stop loss at time of purchase would help." A very good rule to follow but one that surprisingly few people do. Unless shares are to be held long term with the mindset that they'll be held through thick and thin, no matter what (the dangerous way!) a stop loss is the only way to go. Shareholders may face a short term loss investing that way but if the company they buy into is going to be a success then there will always be another chance to buy and then, hopefully the sp will carry on up. In it for the dividend?, then the sp won't be as important as the company profits! No div at MDX for a while though, if ever.

Sometimes it is better to accept a huge loss and walk away with little than to think "OH, this'll recover" then watch the company go belly up and get nothing. Not suggesting that this will happen to MDX but the signs are not encouraging. IMO the next 6 months are crucial, if they get their financing wrong, well, I needn't spell it out.

I hope all holders have an eventual winner.

Afternoon mdx holdersjust got inhad so many e-mails today from friends that are mdx long termersall wanting to nominate me for the Nobel Peace Prizeand all showed their desire to get to know some of the less enthusiastic better! ..lol
I dont think the refinancing was a placingthey wouldnt have announced this chicken feed amount todayit was to satisfy long term obligations.it would have been considerably more! mdx are tied in with Fortiswho have there own problems and so are probably renegotiating loans or a new loan to maximize growth.
Jkd summed up how I feel... perfectlyI am not leveraged I do not need that cash and it only becomes a loss if I sell now or at a lossI have put the certificates in the bottom of my drawand know one gets them!
Thanks for the last line Kim/Steve.

Hopefully a better day today?. Dil are you OVERMARS333 ?

Bullshare - 03 Oct 2008 08:31 - 3186 of 8631

Dil has about 200,000 aliases that we all know of, so if anyone deramps one of your stocks it wil be Dil in disguise. Its amazing how he has time to create all these aliases, deramp stocks and still turn up at school to do his AS levels, we think the Rhonda mafia(men in dark glasses) have an involvement with the deramping as well.

tabasco - 03 Oct 2008 08:37 - 3187 of 8631

Thanks Bullshare.any information gratefully received.
