Not quite sure what to read into these figures but I thought they might make interesting reading. I have bought 6 tranches of seo. They are all in profit. The percentage gain in the order they were bought is 46%, 33%, 7%, 34%, 42% and 3%. The last 4 have all been bought this month. Better than a lot of my investments and certainly better than the bank. I reckon I'll stay with these for quite a while longer.

what a good day!! a new high , and an agm to look forward to. i'm glad most of the posters on this board are happy with their choice. i think it's safe to say everyone is in profit .it has that feel of building up to something again. (well it does to me!)maybe it's the buy on rumour brigade getting back in?
sharesure, hope you weren't offended. after the tit's appearance i'm just a bit curious about new faces with no history especially ones who are incredibly well informed . i agree with chiva, the more informed posters we have here, the better. starting to feel a little like tubbs..........are you local?

Sharesure - 20 Apr 2005 19:30 - 3184 of 27111

Agree. A good day on many smaller cap stocks. I'm local to London. Not sure what I had to get offended about; maybe not sensitive enough!

EWRobson - 20 Apr 2005 19:30 - 3185 of 27111

I posted a very sexy theory that the top-line of the previous flag would become the bottom line of a new flag. If that's the case then the new resistance line is sloping up at an equal gradient and we are on that line just now. However you look at it, progress tomorrow will be a breakthrough, the bears will take cover, the bulls will have a hayday; onwards and upwards! (Which reminds me of John Tudor's joke which I am prepared to tell at the golf day!) Lots of lovely rumours around to buy on. Even noggodynog might revise his forecast upwards to 15p!

The Dow is down over 100 points - will that effect the sentiment on small caps - or just hit the mainstream?

mancharry1 - 20 Apr 2005 21:31 - 3187 of 27111

I only post messages rarely but imho this is a company with a future.Even if the price drops I will buy more because in a years time the price will be over 50p. I can wait for that. All the short termers will come and go but Stanelco has a market leading product and is now in a great position to exploit the potential- broker forecast on yahoo show 526% pe gain in 2006- they are much more informed and market aware than i am so cant disagree!Everything looks great- potential to conquer America is there and when it happens we can all buy the yacht, new car or pay off mortgage etc....thanks for the tip bosley!

overgrowth - 20 Apr 2005 22:03 - 3188 of 27111

Baza - I was wondering that too. The Dow's down because consumer inflation has been confirmed as up (which is an indirect effect of high oil prices).

All pretty obvious I would have thought and no cause for overreaction, however the FTSE follows the Dow like a lost puppy so the main market will start on a low I would guess.

Having said that, I've often found that small caps. thrive when the FTSE drops in sympathy rather than because of genuine concerns - so, here's looking to another up day for SEO.

EWRobson - 20 Apr 2005 22:42 - 3189 of 27111

Welcome to Mancharry - a seasoned (SEOsoned?) SEO holder with some wise comments. What is yahoo's absolute change as % on a small base can be misleading?

Re tomorrow; taking Monday as a guide suggests an early fall with perhaps a recovery to the overnight level late in the day. AIM was up today with FTSE indices all down, so that suggests there is good selective demand for AIM stocks in tricky times. I think this is because a lot of the mature stocks are in difficulties holding their own: obviously high street retailers, exporters with strong pound, even services with concern about consumer spending. The new boys on the block are going for specialist niches with expertise from entrepreneurs who want to make lolly for themselves rather than the large company: even the pension scheme is no longer worth that much. Suspect, with SEO, a strong close as people look forward to Friday: encouraging words plus hopefully news about additional ASDA trial completion and/or US: they are bound to be asked about the reason for the rush in training of Premier and Advanced engineers.

i tend to agree, eric. i think we are going to see more upwards pressure on the price upto the agm. seo , if nothing else , are news savvy and the agm ,imo, will be very bullish!!!
hello mancharry. nice to see you again!
sharesure, if you are definately going to the agm , if anyone has a specific question they would like to ask the board, could they ask it through you?

TheFrenchConnection - 21 Apr 2005 03:26 - 3191 of 27111

Amities / Clarification that top man at Asda, Alan Leighton, was INDEED in three meetings with top execs @ Brandes lnvestment regarding the former buying the latters 10% stake in William Morrisons. lt would therefore not be illogical to more than assume that Asda, with Wal Marts muscle, are not so subtly preparing the ground for a leveraged buy out of the troubled food retailers-Morrisons. . Actually it would make a good bolt on aquisition for both parties ;but lets forget the bigger picture of such a massive "buy out" for a second and concentrate on the quite equally staggering implictions such a deal could/would have for SEO The potential implications for SEO are not lost on any of us. Of that much i am sure . The term "Exclusivity " to Asda then assumes a totally different meaning and its fiscal implications for SEO should be re-defined and re-rated as Morrisons are a not exactly a corner shop set up Ran properly and with obvious synergies they would contribute greatly to Asdas coffers. ...But more to the point i am sure they will have almost the same number of units awaiting retrofitting as does Asda .,,,,.mucho $ ..Am i reading to much into this at this stage in proceedings ? But it was music to my ears. For what Asda wants .Asda gets. With Wal Mart as your backer you juste dont lose. And what with Wal Marts much loved, much publisized, policy on high volume leveraged buying through mass aquistions another piece of the jigsaw falls into place. To be honest i feel a deal with Wal Mart is merely a matter of time.lt is strongly anticipated. . . MMs have readily recognised this fact or "some fact " which makes them more than happy to remain overweight in thier book on SEO stock. .Thats not usual unless something has a buck in it. Perhaps this fact is a little easar to understand when it is taken into consideration that which has already been pointed out- Namely that there is only a maximum of 28% of SEO stock being actively traded , or remains "live" for trading purposes at any given time . The remainder remain out of circulation. .MMs are in a win/ win scenario here with SEO . And when you get trades of 600,000 @ 22p buying on the bell who can blame mms for not taking this "bullish" stance ? ? . Upon really close scrutiny of the pattern of the spread today it more than suggests an undeclared, yet to be announced, big "buyer" is in the market - more than propping up the "bid" @ a 21.75 and .50 despite a plethora of sells which under certain circumstances could have shaved a point from the stock ..Now mms were not being generous .They were either mopping up an order or we were observing the remnants of of Simon C 's now bankrupt acolytes closing shop and limping off Or as i believe; Perhaps the start of something bigger in institutional interest. Toe dipping by proxy. ..But at the very least more POSITIVE publicity and the incessant Buying which keeps seo rolling along ..Qui sait ?.. Given the ficlke idiosyncrasies of Mr.market volume held up nicely today and especially yesterday when everything was a little red like you Bos i am very bullish on SEO .More than i have ever been to be honest .... . ....a'bientot ,,,bonne chanc....@+ J .....

blimey tfc!!! why not drop a bombshell or two!!! would the mmc allow such a thing?

Sharesure - 21 Apr 2005 08:31 - 3193 of 27111

SEO agm. Yes,I am definitely going so will happily put questions if anyone wants something asking.
Morrisons would make a tidy deal for Asda; hope the radar is right.

Must confess that I am surprised that the FTSE is up after the mauling the Dow took last night. - Good to seo ticking up steadily - hopefully in anticipation of more ghood news tomorrow

overgrowth - 21 Apr 2005 09:40 - 3197 of 27111

Baza - looks as though the FTSE is up because the Wall St. futures are up ( that's because they overdid the selling yesterday and there should be strong support at the "psychological" 10,000 barrier).

Not that any of this will make any difference to SEO's strength though :-)

bosley - 21 Apr 2005 10:27 - 3198 of 27111
