MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

Friendly chartists putting the 'short' boot in? Hey ho - why do I sense an MBO at 50p :-)

halifax - 10 Jun 2008 16:13 - 334 of 8631

Might be difficult to raise 75m in this market and unlikely as they know their accounts even before IFR.

scotinvestor - 10 Jun 2008 16:38 - 335 of 8631

sp was 37.5p and to buy was offered 35.25p! to sell was more than 39p!

something very strange....or should i say suspicious is going on......i think something is being done behind the scenes, the whole last 5 months has been mysterious as mdx has given no news when before it was every given week.

hostile bid perhaps coming up?

halifax - 10 Jun 2008 16:52 - 336 of 8631

Dream on Scotty these guys were found out when they objected to IFR accounting.

Big Al - 10 Jun 2008 17:10 - 337 of 8631

I thought this was a potential FTSE100 company 4-5 years ago. ;-))))

scotinvestor - 10 Jun 2008 17:16 - 338 of 8631

40% of people in uk thought tony blair would be a great leader......only to find out he became a war criminal who has yet to be tried.....as well as making every british person a target for terrorism. he still wasnt voted out even 10 years later.....yes, TEN!!!

halifax - 10 Jun 2008 17:18 - 339 of 8631

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Meldex International Plc. said it is not aware of any business reasons for the recent decline in its share prices.

The specialty pharmaceutical and healthcare company also clarified recent speculation regarding a possible rights issues, and said it is not engaged in such an exercise.

scotinvestor - 13 Jun 2008 09:23 - 345 of 8631

the decline has been going on for 2 months!!

have they fallen asleep or do they do what fund managers do and check sp once a year

hangon - 16 Jun 2008 13:30 - 346 of 8631

Scotinvestor, I suspect the reason for higher sp is the notion that the shares are undervalued. Quite why I don't know, but newsflow of "Bids" sure helps.

....the sp-decline, is a result of all value having been wrung out of "Takeover" Talk.

Incidently, you said you'd received about 3k in dividends - er, when? - I'm not aware this Co. ever pays dividend. ( including BioProgress days).
Furthermore with so much debt/shares in issue any sensible payout would be very costly and hardly covered by their income/profits....

I suspect the sp isn't yet "fair value" . . . .say 25p-ish . . . and I might Buy.

halifax - 16 Jun 2008 15:12 - 347 of 8631

Why buy shares in a company purely on the basis of takeover talk which may eventually turn out to be spurious? Even at 25p these shares may be overpriced only their actual results audited under IFRS standards may prove otherwise.

Jub - 18 Jun 2008 10:25 - 348 of 8631

up 8% anybody know what's going on with MELDEX today??

Must be some news somewhere

scotinvestor - 18 Jun 2008 10:35 - 349 of 8631

they had meeting on monday with major shareholders etc.....also HL were present which suggests that companies are still negotiating.
however RT thinks company is worth at least 175p.....so its all confusing with current share price.

i'll look at this in 12 months time i think and hopefully we will be nearer the pound mark

Jub - 18 Jun 2008 10:41 - 350 of 8631

Thanks Scotty!

scotinvestor - 18 Jun 2008 10:58 - 351 of 8631

ALSO THERE HAS been a major seller for long time now every day who is selling at no matter the price......i notice a 300,000 sell today under the trading range.....maybe thats the end of the large sells as its been about 1.5 months of this......the people responsible for selling at any price are cretins as they obviously dont care about the company as they have dragged it so far down each day
