Braemore Resources Uses Cutting Edge Technology (BRR)

niceonecyril - 03 Dec 2007 07:57 - 334 of 810

Excellent discussion over the W/End concerning charts, howecerwhat charts don't allow for is the announcement of news,so what news would help BRR? The recent MOU helped a little but more for the future,so the interest shown for the technologywhich is not just confined to S/Africa,N/America and the Soviet Block haveinquired, i see this more,as helping consolidate the lows.
This leaves the Aussie project, of which we know is hugh. For me that piece of news will come(hopefully)in the form of HB(who is presently in Australia)agreeing a new contract with BHP for Leinster tailings.Rather than the 65% buy back of sulphites,a royalty for the pure(96%)nickel which BRR has proven it can
process.

Cyril - agree: that's just what I mean about keeping as informed as possible. Even if the BRR sp slides a little in the next couple of weeks I'm not going to worry about it (for once!), feeling confident that positive news will come through and give it a decent boost.

Cyril, I quite agree re charts not allowing for news............to a degree. The problem with TA is that it probably has less relevance when applied to small caps, the smaller the cap the less the relevance. Good news for a tiddler has a disproportionate effect on the SP whether good or bad, however similiar news on a larger stock has less effect and thus can be contained within the 'chart' rather than shooting off the scale.

niceonecyril - 03 Dec 2007 09:55 - 337 of 810

Peter i agree, and my reason for my post.Their is still some short term news for BRR which should help move to a new high (possibly 30p), but this after all is a long term project.
So for me a good guide for such is KMR, which moved on news but later drifted
(45p down to 30p and back),and i can see this happening with BRR. So worth keeping eye on the charts with regard to sentiment.

In both Mitz, got into RBS last week on the basis they normally trade on a par with BARC but have been left behing since BARC came out early with results. I think RBS have some catching up to do and so far can't complain as 10%ish up..!! Results due Thursday and my only decision is do I sell beforehand? I'd rather do it on a rising FTSE than a falling one thats for sure..

cynic - 03 Dec 2007 19:18 - 345 of 810

apparently Tootsies group came in with a profit warning and were slammed 40% .... RTN also got whacked 13% and, if you like the sector, make a good buy at this level .... see separate thread

mitzy - 03 Dec 2007 20:19 - 346 of 810

I like BRR..

Toya - 04 Dec 2007 07:13 - 347 of 810

Mitzy, just a thought: at the weekend you asked me re other RHPS tips: have a look at the QTI thread. Silvermede and Jmac have posted some info about QTI having been tipped this w/e. I hold this stock - interesting prospects I think.

mitzy - 04 Dec 2007 07:18 - 348 of 810

mitzy - 04 Dec 2007 08:29 - 349 of 810

mitzy - 04 Dec 2007 09:01 - 351 of 810

Its not going to touch 30p this Xmas..?

oilyrag - 04 Dec 2007 09:01 - 352 of 810

I think theres a large seller in the background, as usually sp would rise on current buying quantities. The sp hasn't moved for a while now.

oilyrag - 04 Dec 2007 09:03 - 353 of 810

Having said that up pops 100,000 sale at 08.01am reported late.
