THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

His time is running out like Manuel's.

"holding the british people to ransom = what?".....ends

Well Camoron is hell bent on getting foreign business into this country foreign investment as you call it, but where do you draw the line eg, what about energy, what about defence.

lets take the Example of the Ruskys and the Ukrain?? every now and again dont the Ruskys shut down that big pipe line that goes through most of Eastern Europe? and hold other countries to effectively ransom.

CCFC yes the fans care. fans = customers.

Forget what your mother said about clean underwear. Under Tories a passport & birth certificate are vital if you're involved in an accident.

i hear your argument, but how would you class the reverse of BAE supplying jets to say Saudi?

it's not quite as clear cut as one might think
further, these sort of deals are never ever straightforward; there's (nearly) always a quid pro quo

cynic - 30 Dec 2013 09:47 - 34706 of 81564

fossy - i know i'm being boring, but then you post 000s and 000s of times, always saying pretty much the same, so what about some input from you on hollande and his policies and their efficacy or otherwise?

Fred1new - 30 Dec 2013 09:54 - 34707 of 81564

MAnuel,

Just for you.

Print out and hang it above your bed.

Yep cyners but their not building them in Saudi are they??.

I get your point but Im still not easy with all these foreign companys setting up here.......until another country offers better fiscal/business terms and walk away leaving thousands of British workers with no employment.

Fred1new - 30 Dec 2013 10:10 - 34710 of 81564

To remind Manuel of what Maggie and her tories did for the UK.

cynic - 30 Dec 2013 10:14 - 34711 of 81564

fossy - you're not even a class act ..... you're absolute rubbish and your bluff has been called ....

you won't answer re hollande because his left-socialist policies have been shown to be nothing short of disastrous, yet you try to foist these on the gullible here as if "had the present bunch followed even half of hollande's policies, all would be speeding towards valhalla"

in the music hall, the MC would have used his crook to haul you off the stage

try sticking to your cyber chess games, playing left-handed
you can't be any worse at those

Fred1new - 30 Dec 2013 10:17 - 34713 of 81564

HO,Ho,HO!

Fred1new - 30 Dec 2013 11:12 - 34714 of 81564

Another reminder for Manuel of the Conners successes and division of the UK into the haves and "we have taken it away from you".

And the we are all in it together, so roll your B sleeves up and mop the mess up, while I am on holidays in the Cayman Isles with Porky.

I will try and find a suitable cartoon for DB.

Fred, do you suffer from repetitive strain syndrome? :-)

aldwickk - 30 Dec 2013 12:20 - 34717 of 81564

When is Fred going to answer cynic's question instead of posting those stupid cartoons

Haystack - 30 Dec 2013 12:30 - 34718 of 81564

It is the same old story. Labour appointed ATOS and then complain because the current government is using them. Labour caused the biggest financial mess and then complain how long it takes to clean it up. Labour introduced the bedroom tax for private tennant's and complain when it is applied fairly to all tennant's. Labour complain that the Conservatives will cause mass unemployment and it is falling. Labour complained we would be in triple dip recession and we never had double dip and GDP is increasing.
