World cup 2010, What chances for the Home sides and Ireland !. (2010)

required field - 12 Oct 2008 18:43

Thought I'd start a football blog, we might keep this going until 2010.....England doing well....did not see the match or even the goals....I'd like Michael owen back in the squad though....and I think Peter Crouch would make a very good substitute...remember against Argentina in Geneva a few years ago....with Michael Owen and some very good movements on and off the ball...they caused havoc.....did see Scotland's missed chance....that could be very costly losing those 2 points !.

Germany FranceItaly Christyour serious about your football treblemouth.all that travelling must take care of your weekendcant say Ive seen your selections play that often to form an opinion!... I expect your right though?

Treblewide - 16 Oct 2008 16:22 - 36 of 1154

you do not need to travel to see them play sky sports and setanta cover all of the major leagues in europe and they are all internationals although i have seen the italians play at home and away over the last few years against scotland...the problem with the english is they watch the premiershit and that is it and they assume there is nothing outside of it.

I bet there are also 10 better left backs then Cole in south america but i do not see much of their football

i would put Evra above Cole as a better left back in the Premiershit (aka the league with no soul)

tabasco - 16 Oct 2008 16:35 - 37 of 1154

Inverness CT v Hamilton AC your premier league dont do it for me treblmouth.dont have the same ring as Man. Utd v Chelsea.and Dil I aint even going to go there!

Treblewide - 16 Oct 2008 16:40 - 38 of 1154

it does for me as i live near to hamilton and i go to watch them a few times a year and they have the best young crop of scottish talent in all of our leagues, not overpaid millionaires with no connection to the area.....Chelsea mean nothing to me....and Man U only a passing glance as they have SAF the scottish legend in charge........so each to their own

Dil - 16 Oct 2008 16:46 - 39 of 1154

They still got a couple of English guys at Man U and Celsea then tabby ?

And anyway I thought they were just a couple of Yanky and Russian owned teams playing in England but I guess I'm wrong again.

tabasco - 16 Oct 2008 16:47 - 40 of 1154

Treblemouth. Premiershit (aka the league with no soul) . bit harsh.last four years 2 winners..2 runners up from the premiershiplast Scottish finalist just the 28 years ago!.Dil I aint even going to go there!

Treblewide - 16 Oct 2008 16:48 - 41 of 1154

Treblewide - 16 Oct 2008 16:50 - 43 of 1154

tabby......money can buy you anything you want..........try extending that record out for the past 15 years...looks a lot different.....and you are foregeeting Scottish teams have contested the UEFA cup final twice in the last 5 years...not bad for a midget nations

tabasco - 16 Oct 2008 16:56 - 44 of 1154

Dil .do I recall that your national rugby team is being coached by a New Zealander.I dont care about foreigners myself all the time they come over here with a job to go to!

Dil - 16 Oct 2008 16:57 - 45 of 1154

Easy to pick the England squad these days .... put all the eligible Priemiership players into a hat and the last one drawn don't get picked (Owen this time).

Dil - 16 Oct 2008 16:58 - 46 of 1154

Yeah and a guy from England who wishes he was Welsh tabby ... uckin great they are too.

tabasco - 16 Oct 2008 16:59 - 47 of 1154

Dil - 16 Oct 2008 17:01 - 48 of 1154
