The "Con"servative Party, What are they good for? (this was the Thread Title but looks like it was to long to print up).
Well they primarily exist to support the extremes of big business and Off-Shore Tax Dodgers, using various methods to get elected, for example Divide and Conquer and playing to the less intelligent of the population through the Gutter Press etc.
Here's the latest wind-up rant from their leader Cameron.

Watch out there is stalker about.
Not sure if he wears high heels or not.

Saw the interview live.
Embarrassing and felt sorry for her.
But, if Osborne and chums are prepared to sacrifice the country for their ambitions, why not their "colleagues"?
Just another Hunt.

I'm not, unless there is a complete collapse of the economy, I think I will be OK.
As I have children and grandchildren, I wish there would be a tiny little bit of thinking and thought, which would go beyond the daily headlines and short term political "expediencies", by those in who are in "power", but obviously not in "control".

Fewer cancer patients will have to look for work while receiving treatment, under revised proposals from the Department for Work and Pensions.
Caring "Con"servatives I think you'll agree.

More despicable than that:-
Inflation link for annual benefit increases may be axed
Job centre Jobseeker's allowance is among the benefits that would be cut under the plan
The government is considering breaking the link between inflation and the automatic annual increase in benefits, the BBC understands.
Many benefits - excluding the state pension - would be frozen for two years, with future increases pegged to average earnings rather than prices.
Hooray for this unprincipled coalition government.

Should that be horror!

Mr.Dodgy? A. Mitchell refuses to answer the "Specific question" just put to him on The World at One regarding what he said and what he didn't say to the Policeman. No real surprise is it as he's a fairly high ranking "Con" Party individual.
