ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

I am a holder of asos and strongly believe that the share is worth min 12.5p... i thought the report in the telegraph was a poor account of a company at take-off stage... i think it is obvious why the director sold the shares 'privately'and it is NOT because of fear of future performance...

WOODIE - 27 Feb 2004 07:12 - 36 of 5941

legend paper reports are selffuling if you belive the article i asked eckoh reason for sale in telegraph no answer so i cant comment,if it is because a share price has risen 100% then is poor article?

legend290782 - 27 Feb 2004 11:00 - 37 of 5941

Think cgt savings... cheap sale in large volume possibly to a family member.. as he realises potential of share..if he had have asked me to buy 1m at 8.25p i would have snapped his hand off!!! what do you think woodie??

RoyMarklove - 27 Feb 2004 11:19 - 38 of 5941

legend
I agree, we are coming to the end of the tax year. I had not thought of that one.

legend290782 - 27 Feb 2004 11:35 - 39 of 5941

so is that respect to the legend roy??!!!

I have been looking at gaming international... look at the amount of property it has. Anyone let me know their thoughts, i would be grateful.

As for asos, i am keeping hold of them, i agree with status quo they are potentially 18p... i don't think daddy is going to take this t-bird away!!

WOODIE - 27 Feb 2004 15:11 - 40 of 5941

legend without doubt thats the reason at the time of the share sale the price was around why sale at 8.25 also that amount of shares did not go through normal channels.

legend290782 - 27 Feb 2004 15:51 - 41 of 5941

i think it will be interesting to see what the papers say over the weekend, already shares magazine and investors chronicle have tipped them yesterday and today... i can only see good things.... except in the telegraph that is!!

Positive bounce off short term moving average confirms my view of 18 pence as fair value level.

Sunday Express has bullish article on UK internet shopping trends adding further positives.

Shares Mag tipped the stock again. Still capped under 7million with 1.2million CASH in the bank. The sales and profits are being thrown in for next to nothing here!

Am I missing something? or is this stock still about 50% below the price level it should be.

18pence would put the stock on a prospective p/e of 12!!!!

legend290782 - 02 Mar 2004 09:54 - 44 of 5941

shares dropped off a bit, agree with status quo... share is significantly undervalued...

thesaurus - 02 Mar 2004 11:55 - 45 of 5941

Dont see this going over 12p as profit takers come in.

FTreader - 02 Mar 2004 15:28 - 46 of 5941

judging by ADVF site, there are too many peeps in this stock. It is looking a bit like private investor buying being absorbed by large insider selling. Not comfortable but still holding for now.

gallick - 15 Mar 2004 22:14 - 47 of 5941

Anyone seen any price targets for this stock.
Regards

legend290782 - 16 Mar 2004 13:53 - 48 of 5941

yes, price target 15p... if they get any cheaper... i might take them over myself!!!

gallick - 16 Mar 2004 19:14 - 49 of 5941

Legend

Is that your price target or a brokers
(and if the latter, which broker)?

legend290782 - 18 Mar 2004 17:02 - 50 of 5941

It is the price target from citywire my friend, sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. I have been looking at gaming international at 47.5p lately, they are holding an egm on apr 3/4th and it looks to me they are going to kick out the directors that have been creaming a lot of the profit from the company... plenty of assets.

Also, clinton cards are expected to perform well, a reliable source told me... these could be ones to consider.

As for asos, I am holding on to mine and it should at least go up another 50% from where it is now... based on its results, cashflow etc and you never know a possible takeover in the pipeline ;-)

Recruiterrr - 22 Mar 2004 16:19 - 51 of 5941

cheap as chips now, may go lower but any buy under 10p is a HUGE bargain.

legend290782 - 24 Mar 2004 09:24 - 52 of 5941

yes.. i have bought a few more, it seems to me that if there is no trade on them the mms just move the price down

gallick - 27 Mar 2004 01:01 - 53 of 5941

Amazed that there hasn't been a squeak out of this bb despite a 20% rise on the back of the FD's share purchase. We're all a bit mellow out there arn't we (or are we just keeping it a secret)!!!

legend290782 - 02 Apr 2004 11:49 - 54 of 5941

A fair price for the share at last...
