TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 02 Jul 2005 01:46

Hello,

As you can see, we have put the new bulletin boards live.

The migration went smoothly, though it look at little longer than I expected it to!

If you notice any problems on the boards, please post below.

Driver,

It looks like the last link is not closed properly which is what is causing the problem - I Will have to get the boys to take a look at it.

driver,

The last link is not completed again in the thread. I will have to get the techies to take another look back end to see if they can sort it out.

The Post message and Preview Message are proper buttons that depress. All the other buttons are not, nor on the index page.

Kayak - I commented on this in post #290, along with a couple of other things. However, once again you've put it much more succinctly that I did.

Maybe it's because you know what you are talking about, and I don't:-)

And I think we could quite reasonably be told to 'get a life' - worrying about such things at this time on a Saturday night!

Kayak - 31 Jul 2005 00:42 - 368 of 388

Good point. Do you know where I could get one :-)

Piptrader - 31 Jul 2005 00:48 - 369 of 388

Kayak :-)

Kayak,

You are indeed correct. They are able to be buttons as they deal with the submission of form data whereas the others do not.

They could have at least put the dates the right way round were not in america

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 01 Aug 2005 08:50 - 372 of 388

babykitcat,

What do you mean? What dates are in the wrong order?

J.

babykitcat - 01 Aug 2005 08:56 - 373 of 388

(ie) if you go to for instance ITV bottom of page for B/B the dates are american YEAR MONTH DATE not DATE MONTH YEAR sorry if im being picky

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 01 Aug 2005 09:03 - 374 of 388

babykitcat,

I see what you mean. That's not actually American either (American is MM/DD/YYYY), but is the way they're stored in the DB (the only way that makes it very straight forward to sort on that column)

Anyhow, it's wrong, and I'll get that amended today.

Sorry to keep on, but I am unable to add any thing at the bottom of the Stanelco research page, may be there is no more room or is it another problem. I can add it in the edit box but it doesnt show when posted.

driver,

I've amended the code to support the huge posts you're creating.

You should now be able to edit that post.

TullettJ (MoneyAM)
Thanks again, its not that huge.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 01 Aug 2005 12:17 - 379 of 388

driver,

it is huge. It's over 65k (65,000 bytes) which is more memory than my first computer came with!
