Well don Jimmy - I did not manage to get such a good price - but I bought 100,000 @ 19.90.

Like you I think there are legs in this share. My target was 30 by end of year - but I am hoping that this will be beaten

driver - 09 May 2005 15:38 - 3666 of 27111

That reminds me of an article I read in one of the finance papers a couple of months ago, it said that a group of private investors cashed in there shares at the same time raising about 33m the sale did not affect the sp, I cant remember what stock it was but it looks like that will be us lot in a couple of years time.

superrod - 09 May 2005 15:59 - 3667 of 27111

getting 20.25p quote to sell :0)

bhunt1910 - 09 May 2005 16:58 - 3668 of 27111

Yet another day when buys outnumber the sells - and still the shareprice drifts slowly - oh so slowly south. This seems to be a pattern developing

Baza

bosley - 09 May 2005 17:04 - 3669 of 27111

doesn't make sense to me either. buys virtually double sells! there does seem to be good support at 20p though.

driver - 09 May 2005 17:05 - 3670 of 27111

bos
I wouldn't mind just a little bit of sympathy just now and again I don't get it from any one else.
Whos a clever boy then, I bought Kingfisher last week.

1910
I think its just the mood of the market over the last couple of weeks I have got only two blues on my watch list out of a total of 30.

bosley - 09 May 2005 17:30 - 3671 of 27111

driver, you definately ain't getting any sympathy now!!! ( well done). baza, i was going to congratulate you on your engagement, but , it looks like it's all off now. shame! was looking forward to the stag do!!

zscrooge - 09 May 2005 17:34 - 3672 of 27111

Yep - afraid markets likely to remain static for some time and thus you might have to suffer II some more. Still, it could be worse, it could be Haystack.

I see Warren B. has shifted to cash entirely.

halfamil - 09 May 2005 17:57 - 3673 of 27111

IMO

The "trials" are not to see if the machines work. We've already established that.I think they are exploring all the possibilities for usage; and when the've decided on the detail, they'll sign a detailed contract.
Then we'll get "news".
No doubt ASDA are looking over the shoulder.
It will all happen thick and fast.
Just my humble opinion of course; but all the clues are there.

bosley - 09 May 2005 18:20 - 3674 of 27111

i feel the same way, halfamil. just going off the agm statement and what asda have said , it does almost feel like asda keep moving the goal posts and keep adding different uses to the trials.

Stanelco plc (the 'Group')

AGM Statement

At today's AGM, Philip Lovegrove, Chairman made the following comments:

'In the last year, the Group has made substantial advances towards its goal of
becoming an intellectual property business, exploiting the Group's core
technologies. At the forefront of this is our revolutionary GREENSEAL technology
where we continue to move towards full commercialisation.

We announced in March that ASDA Stores Ltd (ASDA) would be the first to adopt
GREENSEAL in the UK, anticipating several hundred machines to be adapted to use
the technology during the first year at the earlier of the completion of three
further trials with ASDA suppliers or the signing of the first commercial order.
The first of these trials nears completion at Youngs Bluecrest, a leading ASDA
supplier.

Feedback from ASDA continues to be very encouraging. As a result of previous
successful ASDA trials using the GREENSEAL technology to seal lids on ready meal
trays, ASDA have extended the trial work to other product areas. Youngs
Bluecrest Seafood Ltd who are an ASDA own label supplier and major brand in
their own right have successfully completed additional trials across a wide
range of products producing results exceeding expectations and in turn leading
to other products in ASDA brand packs on the shelves today. These results
further demonstrate the growing number of benefits to ASDA, its suppliers and
consumers alike.

Following our recent agreements with both Premier Technology Inc. and Advanced
Energy Industries in the US, we are positioning ourselves to roll out the
technology in a number of markets including North America.

I am also pleased to report additional progress with Frogpack - our
impact-resistant packaging solution, which has recently successfully come
through rigorous third-party testing and is being made available to customers
via our licensed distributors.

With these new products and a number of others in development the Board looks to
the future with increasing confidence.'"

a few phrases stand out...

"ASDA have extended the trial work to other product areas."

and
"have successfully completed additional trials across a wide
range of products producing results exceeding expectations and in turn leading
to other products in ASDA brand packs on the shelves today."

asda did say
"Every visit to both stores and suppliers identifies new areas and ways in
which the technology can be used."
the sad thing for seo , ( and us), is that the buggers are getting all this for free!!!
someone called called gromore , i think , said, " the facts are there, it's how you interpret them that matters." i thought that was very wise.

driver - 09 May 2005 18:21 - 3675 of 27111

halfamil
I agree this would be the best way forward detailed contracts, then if they come up with more usage in the future, we get more contracts, lets hope management are on the ball on this one they have been up to now.

bos you beat me to it again you always do that.

bosley - 09 May 2005 18:25 - 3676 of 27111
