Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Money am shows the 800,000 as a sell

Little puzzled as less than 1 million bought and 2+ million sold and price has gone up. Dont understand what is going on here

Talkpanerai - 26 Nov 2003 11:23 - 380 of 3104

Looks very complicated at the moment, a share that was a volume leader in last 4 weeks hasn't traded much. I am very confused.

skids - 26 Nov 2003 11:31 - 381 of 3104

Pumacat,

Some of the aparent Sells are actually Buys, but have been reported late. By the time they appear the price looks like a Sell.

Thanks Skids

Patients is a virtue!

Nitefly - 26 Nov 2003 13:28 - 385 of 3104

Its just manipulation again! They should not be allowed to do this! (they probably aren't allowed)

Don't play into their hands...Remember,when we're selling, they're buying! (I wonder why that would be ;)

Golfclub12 - 26 Nov 2003 13:32 - 386 of 3104

Well
i'm going to hold as i believe they will go up up up!:)

ckmtang - 26 Nov 2003 13:49 - 387 of 3104

i think so. I hope it will be up before xmas

beaufort1 - 26 Nov 2003 14:22 - 388 of 3104

I think that what is happening is that some investors who came in at 2p or so held on for the interims to see whether there would be another spike in the price. Since nothing much happened they are now taking profits. Much of the recent rise took place in anticipation of the interims and aferwards (as so often) it was an anticlimax. Like a fool I bought right at the top but am relaxed about staying in for the longer haul. This is a cracking good company in a great area. if IMHO means "I am holding", then IMHO.

Pumacat - 26 Nov 2003 14:42 - 389 of 3104

Afternoon all

Going over the threads again on the company and note references to a number of possible contracts. Just wondering the strength of the information is and when are announcements likely to be made?

I found this Profile on the Comdirect.com site (Could do with some updating, but otherwise good detail)

CybIT Holdings Plc was established in 1999 and floated on the London Stock Exchange in March 2001.

The Group is a Telematics Service Provider, supplying customers with a satellite tracking system to pinpoint the location of mobile objects. The data is delivered through a wireless network technology. The Company offer business content packages that can be tailored to the user's specific requirements. Services include 24hour monitoring, single point-of-contact and emergency and breakdown monitoring. Customers include logistic industries, private car owners, bus and coach operators and vehicle hire companies.

CybIT operators are available to assist in the managment of any event, such as vehicle theft, accident or traffic congestion.

In October 2001 CybIT joined forces with Orange Arrows Formula 1 to install GAP BCmini telematics units. The Group have also secured an order from haulage company J&A Rathbone to equip drivers with GPService Pilot hands-free telematics units to provide vehicle tracking and up-to-the-minute traffic information.

During December 2002 the Company acquired Drive-IT Systems AB, a Swedish vehicle management and carsharing solutions business.

I would say time will tell but it always pay to be patient in the investment game.CYH is a very good company in a very profitable line of business so nothing to worry about.
