The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

It could be that Credite Agricole still dumping scotty , they been at it for months and if they're now below the 3% limit they wouldn't have to announce it.
The "strategic review" probably signalled to some "lack of cash" and also put the frightners on a few holders.

Scooty I agree with most of what you say..there was a major seller but not a sell off.check the figures for the last eight weeks. As for the market I believe you are correct it will be hammered.. I guess 4500 at the end of the year. I had a punt on barc dipping 3 which covered some pain. These stocks will look woeful in December
I have covered mdx all the way down to 48p and I am intrigued with this companythey will become a great earner and I will not be a seller in the near future.. Now comes the but...they are either severly crooked or RT needs to take a crash course in communication.the Jurys out.
I told you I was lucky Oilyrag trust me Im a bookmaker?

Thats BM's lot out of the running.
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Aquisitek Ltd. confirmed it has no intention of making an offer for pharmaceutical group Meldex International Plc.
Meldex rejected an offer from Aquisitek in February, saying the proposal significantly undervalued the company.
In late April, Meldex said it remained in talks 'with respect to a number of enquiries/approaches it has received', adding that it was examining its options.
Aquisitek, which confirmed its position in a regulatory filing Wednesday, is now not able to make an offer for Meldex for six months under UK takeover regulations.

Big Pharma Faces Grim Prognosis (Wall Street Journal)
http://online.wsj.com/public/article/SB119689933952615133.html
This article bluntly explains why MDX could be a highly attractive takeover candidate AND names names of who could be doing the acquiring. If you own this share, you'll like the candidate list because they are the who's who of the Pharma industry on a global scale.
It also conveys why MDX IP could be extraordinarily valuable to an organization facing patent expirations that may be extended with alternative delivery methodologies

When bad news [so called] no longer effects the price you have half a chance. News at 14.50 price 38p twenty consecutive sells.closes 37.25..not the intended skinner.

i dont consider bm not putting an offer in as bad news.....i'm sure he has his own agenda.
but if u read the links that i provided above, u will see larger pharma companies all struggling.....and this will especially be worse in 2 or 3 years time.....hence mdx being biggest growth biotech co. is standing as possible takeover

not sure dil.....i thought it would be away back when he initially offered which was feb....hence why i said aug.
thats why its 6 months.....rather than bm announcing any day when its 6 months later after that.....jes, he could have announced in march 2009 which means it aint till sep 2009 before he can bid again.
anyway not sure now from your question. cheers

I thought there was a timetable from the initial offer til it expired and then til they could bid again if initial offer was dead. So initial offer Feb , then period to accept or negotiate then expiry then six months before new offer can be made.
Just guessing though.
