Hello everyone, mixed day on the market today. Looking for better tomorrow.

I'll put the kettle on, it seems very quiet in here. Maybe just have a little sherry trifle!

little willie - 27 Jan 2004 20:59 - 3972 of 23498

Hi Socs, quick cuppa for me, just ordinary builders tea with half a sugar;
think I'll get it down and then hit the wooden hill.
Good day for me on the market, hope you're right about the morrow as well.

Pass on the trifle tonight but if I could lick the cold custard from the bowl that'd be great, as long as no-one's had the skin..

This_is_me - 27 Jan 2004 21:24 - 3973 of 23498

Another custard skin man! My children don't know that there is skin on custard - they never see it!

Was that the Environmental Health man I saw taking the, still locked, Doughnut cabinet away. He had a face mask on.

Now that AHT has closed above 20p I am hopefull of making 100k in the game, particularly as VLX looks like it is forming a nice pattern on the chart.

Golddog - 27 Jan 2004 22:00 - 3974 of 23498

Well done TIM your doing great on the Game!
But it's very close behind you.
Skin on custard - yuk!

Bunny, What are shares-se-wares-ses? Have you been drinking again? You naughty thing!! I will send you to straight to bed and check on you later. ;-)

It's like a whole new world not drinking? What to do with myself? more tea i suppose.

Golddog
Isn't it time for a young pup's bedtime? Only us old timers stay up this late, and I'm about to fall asleep in my chair. If I do, please don't let my bowl of trifle fall on the floor.

snoball - 27 Jan 2004 23:39 - 3977 of 23498

This_is_me, he may have been looking for WMD.

GD - 'shares-se-wares-ses' are like 'easy-peasies' or 'yucky-wuckies'...
Er...read the EXACT words written please, no improvising chaps!!!
(Yuck - Thinking here of the disgusting sight of skin on custard...)
Honestly....
most men and skin on custard or rice pudding...What is the appeal??
It looks foul and than..(shudder) than you actually EAT it!!!!
yuck...........yuck.........(:o(

snoball - 28 Jan 2004 15:25 - 3980 of 23498

stockbunny re: custard etc - not me, definitely yukky.
but you have to remember we men are made out of slugs and snails and puppy dogs' tails.

stockbunny - 28 Jan 2004 15:34 - 3981 of 23498

SnoBall! Good afternoon - pull up a chair and join me in a drink.
I can't moan too much about the male of the species, my two
'baby-bunnies' are lads and I love 'em! But some things like the skin on
custard thing, I just can't fathom....

BTW Amazon have got one of the best books I have read in ages
at a ridiculously low price right now - Adventure Capitalist
by Jim Rogers - completely brilliant, well worth under a tenner
including post and pack...Go on treat yourselves!!!!!!!
