SSAS The Final countdown.

A Feature Article in Solutions (issue number 113)February 2006 states:

" Members of ship security alert systems are gearing themselves up for a rush of orders as the Deadline for fitting them (SSASs) to older ships approaches.

From July 1, every ship over 500gt not already fitted with an SSAS will need to install one at or before its next safety radio equiptment survey takes place. Since the requirement to install SSASs came into force on 1st July 2004, all ships built after that date, as well as all passenger ships and all tankers, chemical tankers, gas carrier, bulkers and high speed cargo vessel above 500gt have already passed their mandatory installation deadline. This year's deadline applies to all other cargo ships of 500gt and upwards and mobile offshore drilling units constructed before 1 July 2004.

Effectively, this means that in the twelve months after 1 July this year, more SSASs will be needed than in the two years leading up to the final deadline.

A spokesperson for MarineTrack has promised to provide an exclusive update for this website within the next few weeks!

SAR shares were bought by ZYZ initially at 0.75p
so decent profit again made by ZYZ's management

I expect we could have news regarding the impending floatations soon which would see the companies float in the Autumn.

Interesting times ahead and a great opportunity at these prices.

Well that 14M knocked the offer price up to .55 today from 0.5
