Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Alf Garnet supporters club ? No at least rf has the conviction to air his view ,where as Stan you won't tell us how you think the UK should look .
If you think it should be flooded with immigrants then come out and say it .

eu migrants + benefits
the story on today's front page of the fascist gazette (aka telegraph) makes interesting reading, but as always the paper's leanings should be taken into account
apparently ~257,000 eu migrants arrived in uk last year, yet ~630,000 applied for ni registration
once one is so registered, is one then automatically entitled to a number of benefits, and if so, which?
the other obvious question scarcely needs to be raised
the other interesting comment in the same article was that 000s (unspecified) of illegals were uncovered but could not be deported as "they had nowhere to go" .......
are we totally bonkers????
what's wrong with back whence they came?

potential collapse of eu
if the country votes "out", is it likely that eu will have started on the slippery slope to disintegration?
imo, yes indeed
would it matter?
imo, assuredly
apart from the economic turmoil ensuing after an "out" vote, the (slow) disintegration of eu itself would lead to a dangerous political vacuum which would certainly have russia rubbing its hands with glee
in conclusion, and it's also a caveat to myself, be careful of what you wish and vote for

i certainly believe there are strong odds on eu starting to disintegrate if uk leaves ..... and quite possibly even if we stay in

Well....I might be turning into a UKIP wet.....not sure about voting to leave Europe now as it seems it will bring more problems than solve them.....decisions....decisions.....illusions......and what about this EDF finance chief quitting ?.....strange non ?.....

just as a thought ......
there seems to be strong support even if not general consensus for the view that the whole eu structure and its governance needs a a pretty drastic overhaul
that being so ......
if uk stays "in", what pressure is there then on the eu parliament to do anything?
if uk votes "out", surely that is very likely to foment further unrest among other member states, thus applying far greater pressure for reform?

If the UK vote out cynic i really believe it could disband the EU over time.
Nothing would make me vote to stay in and even more so now with the underhand tactics they are using .
