In the packaging game you have to understand that the packers/retailers are more interested in sales TODAY in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
This is their busiest time of the year. Can't wait for 2005, come on SEO.
I guess this RNS was to keep us informed and not worry about what is going on.

wilbs - 23 Dec 2004 22:28 - 401 of 27111

The xmas shopping period is more or less over and 2005 is in our sights. The new year will hopefully bring some good news to seo and to its shareholders. Once xmas is over, the supermarkets etc. will be over the busy period and will hopefully start thinking about what they can do to get one over their rivals. With Asda on trials it wouldnt suprise me (IMHO) that the giant tesco will follow suit.

Once Asda approve, Tesco will inevitably follow. SEO need to hook just one big fish and then get the nets ready for the cash. The good thing is that they are selling technology licences rather than the packaging itself and it is a technology that is wanted by its end market. Any dips in sp should be buying opportunities.

wilbs - 23 Dec 2004 22:48 - 403 of 27111

I totaly agree andysmith. Hopefully we wont see much of a dip now. Im not sure how the court case will affect seo but hopefully its already in the sp. Depends how the market takes it . If it drops im sure it will bounce back on good news. Like you said, if one big fish gets hooked the rest will be reeled in

I don't mind a little dip like the other week, down to 5p because SEO had to pay 18k!!!! I'll buy again if we see <5.5p.
Happy Christmas to all SEO holders, may 2005 bring us joy.

AdieH - 24 Dec 2004 08:23 - 405 of 27111

Indeed won't be 5.75p this time next year...

andysmith - 24 Dec 2004 08:28 - 406 of 27111

More like 57.5p? Seems crazy but quite possible.
I'm taking a gamble with the money I've saved for the daughters driving lessons next in 2006!! Might be able to give her a car as well???
Lets dream eh, but worth a punt.

AdieH - 24 Dec 2004 08:37 - 407 of 27111

Like your views, I hope this turns out to be at least a 10 bagger within the year... If we can get the cc out of the way then the skys the limit just on tray lidding alone... Lets get moving.

wilbs - 24 Dec 2004 10:58 - 408 of 27111

Merry christmas & a happy new year to all on this thread.
May 2005 be great to us all.

From the Telegraph

Market report
By Yvette Essen (Filed: 27/12/2004)

Stanelco, the radio frequency applications group, announced that finance director Barrie Hozier will move to a non-executive role in February 2005 after more than 12 years in the hot seat. He exercised options over 10m shares, equal to 1.2pc of the equity, at 2.53p each and sold 7.5m of them to his son David at 5.63p each. The stock fell 0.38p to 5.37p.

From the Times

Stanelco, which develops radio frequency technology, dipped 38p to 538p on announcing that Barry Hozier, its finance director, is stepping aside to take up a non-executive role. It also declared that Mr Hozier had sold 7.5 million shares to his son at 558p.

No probs

andysmith - 27 Dec 2004 18:27 - 414 of 27111

Would Mr Hozier sell >400k worth to his son at 5.62p unless he thought his son would benefit? He still has 15m shares, now his son has 7.5m which could make him very rich. 5.625p is now a good benchmark for us all.
Good luck to all SEO holders for 2005.

It depends on how much he thinks of his Son.

bosley - 04 Jan 2005 22:43 - 417 of 27111

more developments at seo. seems a good appointment to me. sounds like the man needed to help seo take the next step , guide them so they " are not at home to mister fuckup". hopefully 2005 will be the year that all this potential starts to become realised. good luck to all in 2005 , whatever your investment or trading choices are. heres is the news

drive forward the commercialisation of this exciting proposition.'

AdieH - 05 Jan 2005 11:18 - 418 of 27111

Price ticking up again nicely, hopefully the last time we see 5p or anywhere near...

EWRobson - 05 Jan 2005 14:08 - 419 of 27111

Good tip in the Times today - probably source of price rise. By the way, isn't that a bullish 'golden cross'?
