World cup 2010, What chances for the Home sides and Ireland !. (2010)

required field - 12 Oct 2008 18:43

Thought I'd start a football blog, we might keep this going until 2010.....England doing well....did not see the match or even the goals....I'd like Michael owen back in the squad though....and I think Peter Crouch would make a very good substitute...remember against Argentina in Geneva a few years ago....with Michael Owen and some very good movements on and off the ball...they caused havoc.....did see Scotland's missed chance....that could be very costly losing those 2 points !.

Trigwhile I wish Scotland the very bestyour rhetoric is better than your playersThe Scottish Footballer of the Year 2009 is Gary Caldwellhis CV reads
began his career at Newcastle United
1998-04 Newcastle United
2001-02 Darlington loan
2001-02 Hibernian loan
2002-03 Coventry loan
2002-03 Derby County loan
2004-06 Hibernian Free
2006-09 Celtic Free
To summarisefrom the start of his careernot one club has paid a penny piece for your best playerhe was slated for costly mistakes in key matches against Benfica and Barcelona in the Champions League. He was converted to right-back because he was Strachans bitchand was also less than impressiveother than thathe is better than all the other Scottish playerscant argue there

yeah i would agree caldwell is a donkey, he has good distribution but he looses players and does not read the game very well

fyi i always use the players player as the payer of the year as a better marker as football hacks and officials know as much about football as marni

fyi...scott brown was players player...and i would say he is an outstadning talent that will be in the premier league having gone for big money in the next few years...

I hate to spoil the party but just what I feared has happened : CELTIC and ARSENAL have been drawn together......in the Champions league...It just had to happen !.

Treblewide - 07 Aug 2009 12:06 - 407 of 1154

yip...seen that...arsenal will horse them.

that the is the only team i did not fancy them againt...oh well

the whole thing is rigged to get the big countries TV money anyway....same as the world cup

Treblewide - 07 Aug 2009 12:15 - 408 of 1154

re players player of the year...if you follow the link and expand on the list of previous winners...compare the names of the winners over the last few years compared to the mid 90's it is symptomatic of the decline in scottish football in the last 10 years

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_PFA_Players%27_Player_of_the_Year

marni - 07 Aug 2009 12:38 - 409 of 1154

required field - 12 Aug 2009 08:28 - 417 of 1154

Big game for the Scots and not a bad game for England...the Dutch in Holland : difficult, time for our forwards to score....no Gerrard, no Crouch and no Owen (though he will be back soon).....I hope we don't get the whole side changed at half time....I hate that....might be time for Defoe to score, he did get a great header against Andorra, but last season was a disaster for him.

gerrard should be in jail as that is what would happen to ordinary man in the street for his disgraceful antics......and he cant even speak english.

crouch looks like a lamppost and has the football ability of one.

owen is a dwarf and scores about once a season.

Stan - 12 Aug 2009 11:40 - 420 of 1154
