Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?
If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?
Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?
What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

no need to shout at me; this isn't an arab souk! ..... yes i am indeed jewish but that certainly does not mean that i hold with the appalling way that the israeli gov't is behaving ...... my own views on this mess are posted somewhere on this site (several times!), but i do find it singularly boring when the whole place is swamped with verbose c+p

Cynic,
Perhaps, you are suffering from "attention deficit syndrome", or early dementia and don't realise it.
As said many times before, there is no external compulsion to read any thread, or any of its content.
Also. perhaps, many posts are not for your attention or benefit alone.

I wonder how much Israeli, American and British "administrations" were offering Abas and Fatah hierarchy, to sign away the rights of those they were representing.
I wonder where the pay line is?

there is no external compulsion to smell any stench, real or imagined ...... a clothes peg should do the trick, or failing that, a sealed polythene bag over the head

Fred and gimp mask are three words which, under no circumstances, should ever be used in the same sentence. I feel a bit queasy now.

That would be unlikely as it is not in Israel's interests. In fact the possible shift in politics especially in Egypt, which has been assisting Israel in the last few years, will increase pressure on Israael.

It seems that in Egypt the uprising is not the result of factions like the Muslim Brotherhood, which has in recent times has had pretty poor support. It is more of a popular force due to rising prices and lack of freedom. That's not to say that if there is a power vacuum in some of countries, there will not be a shift towards fundamentalism. There are several countries in the region which are vunerable, such as Yemen which has had a virtual dictatorship for more than 30 years. The recent disclosures from Aljazeera are no surprise to many people. The PA has always covertly cooperated with Israel and the US (probably the proper word would be colaborators). There is going to be serious trouble over the released documents. I would expect the whole region to be entering a period of increased instability.

Settlers kill a Palestinian Boy and Injure Another near Hebron
Hebron PNN A Palestinian teenager was shot dead, another sustained wounds by settlers who attacked the village of Safa near the southern West Bank city of Hebron on Friday morning.
Witnesses told PNN that a group of 100 Israeli armed settlers from the illegal settlement of Beit Ayen near the village attacked Safa and started to shoot at residents homes. The settlers were divided into two groups. One group stayed attacking villagers homes and the other group opened fire at local farmers working their lands.
Armed Settlers in Hebron - Archive Yousif Ikhlayal, 17, was hit with a live round in his head as settlers shot at his father and him while working on their lands. Ikhlayal was moved to Hebron city hospital for treatment doctors there pronounced him clinically dead.
The settlers continued their attack, later 16 year old Bilal Quqass was injured in his arm when settlers opened fire at his house.
Residents of Safa along with people from the nearby village of Sourif tried to force the settlers out of the village.
Witnesses told PNN that Israeli troops arrived and attacked residents and provided protection for the settlers. After the soldiers forced the residents back to the village, the settlers went back to their illegal settlement.
The reason behind the settlers attack remains unknown until the time of this report
