Never seems to impede you Hays and you drink a bottle at breakfast plus a can of meths to help it down.

Compared to you I am very abstemious. I haven't had an alcoholic drink for a couple of months.

I dont understand why Call Me Dave made such a big thing about the Junker elevation, without the means or backbone to do something about it.

He was simply batting a bum wicket from the off, and heading for defeat by the German high command via Brussels.

It makes no sense to take a position where you cannot win and you have no fallback plan.

Because he is pretty thick.

I think he did the right thing. The choice of President is supposed to be decided by the heads of state and the assembly was attempting to bypass that system. There was more support for a different candidate than it appears. Merkel doesn't want Juncker but has supported him as she has coalition partners who want him and would cause problems for her. Cameron knew he couldn't stop Juncker but attempted to on principal.

He hasn't got any principles!
