MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

Anyone going the AGM, please take a big bucket to catch all the dummies as they get spat out :-) Makes me wish I could get there just to have a good laugh...

tabasco - 26 Jun 2008 13:42 - 432 of 8631

Pumben Im tied up..got some paint to watch dry. Think they might be doing a bit of whitewashing too.

Dil - 26 Jun 2008 13:49 - 433 of 8631

Would love to ask the CEO to justify his "nonsense" comment.

tabasco - 26 Jun 2008 13:54 - 434 of 8631

Hes not going to be there..got something more important onI think its the dry-cleaning.

scotinvestor - 26 Jun 2008 13:58 - 435 of 8631

he never turned up for meeting either......and he should be ensuring rns's are coherent and proper.

where is he? what does he do? its better than a soap opera this.....u couldnt make it up

scotinvestor - 26 Jun 2008 13:59 - 436 of 8631

do u reckon the police will be in attendance with some upstart shareholders, lol

Dil - 26 Jun 2008 14:28 - 437 of 8631

They better say somethin good at this meeting otherwise the price will get battered further imo.

scotinvestor - 26 Jun 2008 14:46 - 438 of 8631

they r hiring mugabe as non-executive director, lol

scotinvestor - 26 Jun 2008 14:53 - 439 of 8631

last rns is better.....as it states uncertainty of bm with shareholders.....i know HL assked names and amounts to bm and he told them to whistle......i dont know if bm has a blustering atitude. anyway just leave mdx to get on with it.....all this shouting at them is making it worse.
in 6 months time all will be well.

just look at banks to show how bad things are....remember that!

pumben - 26 Jun 2008 15:00 - 440 of 8631

Probably a stupid question but why doesn't the Board state how much the rejected offer was ??

Dil - 26 Jun 2008 15:01 - 441 of 8631

Cos they'll look like plonkers for not taking it.

scotinvestor - 26 Jun 2008 15:07 - 442 of 8631

but they had more than 2 months of when price was 80p.....so why not mention it then....esp when bm pulled out....sp was still decent price then....but mdx said nothing.
thats the strange thing....its like secret service

Dil - 26 Jun 2008 15:09 - 443 of 8631

FIGHT FIGHT !!!!!

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Pharmaceutical group Meldex International Plc. said shareholder Barry Muncaster has not provided any evidence to support his claim that he holds a 30 percent stake in the company.

The company said it is unclear at this time if Muncaster is acting in concert with certain other shareholders, however, it is making all appropriate and relevant enquiries.

Earlier Thursday, Meldex had said senior independent non-executive director Peter Ibbetson resigned with immediate effect to highlight the unacceptable behaviour from a minority of shareholders.

On Wednesday, Aquisitek Ltd., an acquisition vehicle controlled by Muncaster, had confirmed it has no intention of making an offer for pharmaceutical group Meldex International Plc.

Meldex had rejected an offer from Aquisitek in February, saying the proposal significantly undervalued the company.

BM doing a great job of bringing down a company he has a large financial interest in.

What a plonker.

littlebert2 - 26 Jun 2008 15:55 - 445 of 8631

If the 'plonker' actually has got access to 30%, there is nothing to stop him 'loaning' them out to short positions, driving down the price, helping to remove the board, then closing those positions to drive the price back to where it should be - but with him (or a puppet!) in charge.... not so daft really, is he?

Dil - 26 Jun 2008 16:20 - 446 of 8631

Isn't that a bit dodgy while being involved in a takeover offer ? That would make him even stupider than I gave him credit for.

And didn't BM manage to run the price down from a much higer level to an even lower level when he was in charge ?

scotinvestor - 26 Jun 2008 16:53 - 447 of 8631

yes, bm has a really bad image.....in fact it went to 25p in 2005 i think....and thats when rt too over and started things with melbrusin etc to get mdx out of the poo.

ok, rt has a high salary but he has transformed the company in last 2 years.

and bm has used advfn to get as many big shareholders together.....but i'm sure for his own agenda....anyway he's an old geezer these days so why he doing this.

anyway he's out of position for takeover at present and some of the really big pharmas could take over....mdx will be small change to them.
and i'd love to see bm tell glaxo etc that their strategy is rubbish.....that would be funny.

Dil - 26 Jun 2008 16:56 - 448 of 8631

What name does he uses on advfn ... I'll go revive CAT's binbag thread from when BM was in charge.

halifax - 26 Jun 2008 16:57 - 449 of 8631

Sounds like we are about to get a profits warning.

Dil - 26 Jun 2008 17:01 - 450 of 8631

Be nice for holders if they warned they were going to make one someday !!
