Tadpole Evolves (TAD)

ainsoph - 23 May 2003 13:32

A new thread that may swim in hibernation for a few days or weeks as the process of evolution takes place ......

Imagine a slimmed down debt free company with one division stacked with orders and self financing with cash in the bank.

Then imagine a partner for the other division with pockets so deep that they could fund a rocket to the moon ..... and back

Dreaming of course but Tads can do that to you ..... what a gem or is that a bygone dream as well .....

Can you tell me if there is any other bulletin board for Tadpole as this one is not for me.

Thanks

Deidre 26 and beautiful!

MAM:

Given the mass censorship and bannings induldged in by yourselves are you happy with the result?

OK. You stopped the bickering, but is MAM a better place for it?

I hardly ever look here anymore, and when I read what's on offer I'm not surprised.

You banned some eloquent posters, and you're left with not much.

Fugitive - 11 Jun 2003 19:43 - 439 of 729

You all want the TAD info, well for old times sake;

directors filling boots, I heard it's the CEO, could be yanks doing the buying, 10p, no 20p, I see 50p as a reasonable target - by xmas 1 pound - that's cheap, surely worth more, there is news to come, gem is ending, straight down the middle, don't forget the news, it'll come this month may be next, buy some tad, which colour yacht are you buying? don't forget the news, should be soon now... reverse takeover of microsoft I heard, great technology, they need it in sliced bread even, etc, etc

Money AM

I think Cassis asked some pertinent questions.
Are you going to answer them?

M

MightyMicro - 11 Jun 2003 23:42 - 441 of 729

Moneylender, Cassis et al,

I don't represent MoneyAM but, FWIW, I know a lot about the software and computer industries, having spent a lifetime in them, and I know a thing or two about Tadpole -- but don't own a single share in them.

What I saw relating to Tadpole on this BB was a long-running set of personal vendettas and private feuds which collected around some fairly ignorant opinions and commentators, in my humble, but informed, opinion. It was alleged (by quite a number of users of the BBs)that the specious arguments were driving new members of this BB away, and I think that was probably right. As far as I can see, MoneyAM's management have no interest in reducing the number of people using their site, and every interest in increasing it.

I know for sure that there is no "mass censorship" on this BB -- but there is a usage policy, and I think the management quite like to stay on the right side of the law, so libel and defamation are, well, out. Otherwise, as far as I know, it's Freedom Hall.

This compares favourably, IMHO, with ADVFN, where mere mention of this site's name is automatically censored. That sounds more like mass censorship to me.

As for Tadpole's chances in the marketplace, I leave comment to you.

Good luck to all who hold.

Regards

As I understand it, rampers using multiple aliases were banned. No news is IMO better than constant fabricated nonsense.

Cassis - 12 Jun 2003 13:28 - 443 of 729

Mighty.

You raise some valid points.

Would you say that your opinion stems from ADVFN's harsh treatment of you and MAM's purchase of your services?

Surely these factors can only lead to some kind of bias in your reasoning.

I'd be really interested in the real click rates here before and after the ainsoph episode.

MightyMicro - 12 Jun 2003 17:36 - 444 of 729

Cassis,

Fair point, but I was not concerned or upset by ADVFN's treatment, merely surprised - astonished may be a better word. I think they made a poor decision, based solely on who I was and not on what I said, posted or did.

Sure, I was delighted to have my company chosen to implement MoneyAM and we threw ourselves into it with enthusiasm.

I'm not privy to MoneyAM stats on click rates, but I believe that the growth in subscriptions and site usage has been exceptional.

I don't believe it! A GEM announcement and not a word of comment. Bring back whatisname, I say. Let's get some discussion going!

Sequestor - 14 Jun 2003 17:32 - 446 of 729

and the renta- crowd bayed for the return of Queen Kay,
but `twas not to be as her head lay upon the floor beneath the executioners axe,
and verily `twas vowed by those of money, `tis a far far better thing we did, than we have ever done before, for behold the coffers do overflow from the taxes of those once Cowed by the felons, and the clicking of the coins, and the
crowding of the site was huge

When KDC and gang were banned from here, one of the Gang said that those who wished to see a blatant ramper removed would then turn on "others".
Since then , and it should be noted, I have seen nothing but reasonable banter,
no blatant silly ramps and no decrease in posts, with the exception of this dog, so no surprise there.
Well done MAM, keep out the fellons

You know what happened to Custer at the Bull Run?

snappy - 17 Jun 2003 12:54 - 450 of 729

History is not one of my strong points, tell me what did happen?

Sequestor - 17 Jun 2003 13:26 - 451 of 729

Well General George Custer won `loadsa medals`in the American Civil War, and achieved great acclaim at The Bull Run, and promotion,
however a weakness for being `top-dog` led him into his last stand at Little Big Horn- he just couldn`t admit to being wrong, and suffered the ultimate -scalped.

Let's hope that history doesn't repeat itself with KDC as he cannot admit to being wrong either ;-)

PRECISELY,
big concerted ramp on the other side today eh?
